I (Achilleus) am using Darkwood Armory's dueling sabre blade mounted by Dennis Graves to an old Parise style guard. Maestro Sullins' blade was a Schmidt mounted by Popinjay.
well, in this case its pretty easy to understand. those are real sabres. if we sharpen them you would not be able to tell them apart from dueling sabres used in - you know - duels. so that changes the way you use them. using a sword as opposed to a car antennae.
Would heavy sabers be similar to the sabers used by, say British officers in their colonial wars during the 1800's?
