General Douglas MacArthur Suite, Manila Hotel in Makati

We stayed here when our flight had to return to Manila. This hotel is breathetaking. All of the brass and glass is polished and shined; the food was the best! We thank Northwest Airlines for putting us up in this 5-Star hotel! Also, we enjoyed the Makati shopping district! We suggest The Manila Hotel be placed on your travel list.

before it was the address of prestige and elegance but now it's rundown and dirty.. i hope the administration get their actions together and restore this wondeful edifice which has seen the glory days of Manila and once the most elegant and modern hotel in all of asia... it reaped awards during the 70's now it's all gone..
