I clearly pointed out that this could not be a police measure, as the car would otherwise have warning stickers stuck to its windows (legal requirement in UK). Therefore I wondered whether the Harrods staff had done this themselves as a security measure to protect the cars. There, that wasn't so difficult to follow, was it?

And maybe... they could've asked a member of a store staff to clamp it for them I'm not dumb but you sounded like you meant they clamped it for breaking the law not for the cars security... Which for me wouldn't make sense because who would have guts to steal one of these cars on this streets in these hours? too many witnesses
