its 2011 and can you believe it I just bought a Asus Eee PC 1008HA new in box. Its a 3 year old comp. but still I just had tio have it because of the cool seashell/stylish design :)

ASUS customer service & techie's totally suck!
I have had ASUS products for so many years - Because they are great products!
But at this stage in the game, a product has to have good support to get my business!
(I have several ASUS MOBO's and the Asus Notebook computer G2S)
The tech service absolutely sucks!
No more ASUS for me; integrating after market graphics cards & even RAM takes good customer service
Their BIOS support sucks too

No they are totally different companies. It's just that they have a similar name and ASUS was founded by EX-employees(computer engineers) of Acer.
