Bardel, the makers of this cartoon, are in the process of developing an electronic game for Silverwing and want to ask fans which platform would be best to launch the game on. iPad? iPhone? Facebook? Any ideas?
Actually Shade DOESN'T 'live' like we're alive, instead Nocturna lets him return to the world of the living as a part of nature-but only his spirit-to be with his family. But he IS technically dead, although Goth is alive because he stole Griffen's life force, and that's why Shade basically killed himself-to give Griffen and his friend(I can't recall her name at the moment) his own life force so they could continue to live. Trust me I'm reading it straight from the book as I type!

I'm an American and I loved this show when I came across it... The sad thing is, it came on 4:00 am central... To get to watch it I had to wake up really early to watch it...it was very sad when I woke up one morning and it wasn't on tv.... I miss this show and I wish they would put it back on air at a decent time

@Opiv337 Firewing was definatley my favorite, mostly because they talk about Griffin, and you finally get to know what the underworld for the bats looks like from Oppel's point of view. It was one of those books that you just couldn't put down. I'm still looking for the fourth one in the series. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Not really. Unlike with a typical widescreen format (like with my WR clips), I can't crop it out without distorting everything. You might not have noticed this, but I haven't uploaded a single clip of Silverwing without zooming in...a lot (and the quality at that zoom is awful). So far, I'm getting good quality with ripping, but I'm trying to find a balance between good quality and decent size (12 GB per ep? No thanks). I might need to run them through WMM to bring down the size yet keep quality
..Wow. I feel really unobservant now. 0-0 Lol, that must be a pain. But 12 GB an episode? That's just plain cruel; it's weird though. Do you have to rip each episode individually? My ripper just ripped them all into a huge file.
I like being able to sift through episodes. I managed to get 1 GB and then used WMM. It's not fullscreen (since the episodes are in widescreen format) and it seems like it's going to be 100-200 MB per ep, but the viewing area is bigger and the quality kicks ass. I'm trying WR now, but for some reason it split the eps in 2 for the VOBs, so I need to rip them using the pieces and then combine with WMM. Ugh, my re-rippings are going to be frustrating it seems. At least I can get better quality.

Personally, Firewing was a very anti-climatic book.
Although it started out interested, the ending really took an odd turn that I don't feel conveyed what it was meant to.
Sub-par compared to it's predecessors.
