Comedy does not get much better than the Family Series.I saw every one of them in the 70's. I still laugh out loud now when I view these classics. Thanks for posting.
I love these skits. Too bad the continuity from this show and mama's family connected more together. Mama's Family never had Phillip. In a way it's kind of confusing.
I think you gotta look at the 2 as taking place in 2 TOTALLY different universes.
Actually I think there a 4 Eunice/Mama universes.
1.The Family sketches,
2.The movie Eunice,
3.NBC Mama's Family,
4.CBS Mama's Family.
I know a lot of people say that Mama's Family is ALL connected, but the CBS episodes and NBC are just TOO DIFFERENT! E.g. I just cannot see the NBC version of Mama being friends with Iola, so I say Iola did NOT exist on the NBC episodes.
