I attempted a 2007 thru-hike, and almost went into hypothermic shock because of craptastic gear, but I'm going with the good stuff in 2008. Hope to see some folks out there. (PS, my trail name is the Impersonator:)
That was sweet man, I started a thru hike but was foolish about it. I started at Katadin going south In mid june. I only made it to white house landing before I realised I was being stupid so I hiked out and decided to do it right another time.
that was an awesome video-brouht tears to my eyes. my son is now hiking the trail (2007) and just hiked into maryland. we are from maine, so can't wait for him to get up thisw way!!
