ive been wondering for a while now, my pit is a lot taller then most pits ive seen. i know hes a pit but isnt short like them, and do i have to get him stocky or should that come natural?

This is a REAL APBT. It was bred for mental and physical endurance and ultimate desire to please the owner. Higher degree of gameness. A real pit dog. Quick and flexible and probably very strong, Very well trained! 100% locked into pleasing every desire. Also, this dog seems mannered and from what I see, real perfection "Aggressive" is a extreme negative for fighting. Like humans. A game dog is usually not human or dog aggressive unless idiotically trained. Gorgeous, COURAGEOUS and LOYAL.
@SuperTNEZ Not trying to sound like a smartass or anything but the pitbull itself is just that; a mixture of other dogs. In the early days they needed a dog that had drive (terrier) and size (mastiff/boxer) so to say that any dog is a "pure" blood would be a lie. It's just a fixed body type.
@SuperTNEZ Yes! People are butchering the breed now, trying to make American Pitbull Terriers all squat and musclebound. If you want a squat little dog, get and English Bulldog. Terriers are supposed to be strong but lean and fast.

Very nice focused heelwork and obedience. A beautiful dog. But I see you are using Schutzhund training--please don't train this dog to attack human beings. You're a big guy--you can protect yourself--don't increase the stereotype of vicious pit bulls. What you're doing now is wonderful and shows people what a smart obedient dog the pit bull is, making a positive contribution to the breed. Thanks for showing what a good trainer can do with a nice breed.
All my pit can do is sit, lay down, shake your hand. Oh, and chew the fuck out anything he can find.
