I noticed a lot of refrences to the movies and their plot, but not the Anime's or Manga's. Have you ever watched the anime?

If not, then you don't know what you're missing. The Anime is much better than the movie.

The Movie has way too many plot holes. Also, the writers were definately one sided with L, while the Anime allowed the audiance to decide who they thought was right.

The movie portrayed Light as simply a spoiled brat, whereas in the Anime he was definately more mature about it.
