i have a vid of that twister that touched down in northwest gillette this summer..i remember walkin out of wally world and lookin to the north..there was a tail hangin down there, and the one that touched down was to the west of the tail..too bad i didn't get the tail on cam.

So THAT'S what it looked like...I remember hearing about that one. Did you see that one 2 Mondays ago? I saw 2 funnel clouds above Kmart 2 minutes before the siren went off on June 3. I took pictures of that and a rotating wall clouds that was RIGHT BY my house that same day.

if it wasn't for the funnel cloud you'd never know it was a tornado wyoming is so windy all the time. the windsocks at the airports are log chains tied to a pole, and the wind still blows them straight out.

Man, I'm glad that I moved to Minnesota... There were about 3 tornados in the area of our Spotted Horse Ranch (40 miles north of Gillette).

I live in Minneapolis and we get about 10 tornadoes a year!

I grew up in gillette..also before moving to texas..I think it was either 2000 or 2001 but like 12-15 tornados ripped through campbell county

I live only like 70 miles away in buffalo wyoming this scares the crap out of me...
