Sadly....VRALEXANDER was killed today at the Spectre 341 Hill Climb in this 996 Turbo...he drove off a 200ft cliff and was killed :( Rest in peace to one of the biggest car guys ever.

Love it Alex! I have a 996TT EVOMSGT700, Picked it up about a year and a half ago and have loved every minute of it. Minus the Techart front looks stock but lowered. Pulls like a freight train. I have your episodes of Supercars exposed on DVR never get old of watching a 996 smoke everything out there! :P Just joined L4P after catching this vid, I'll have pics up sooner or later. Only have a vid on here of the exhaust reving. Nice Vid tho! Envious 996tt owner here! :)

Fcabido, The tip can handle a lot more than people give them credit for. We've had gt35r's on quite a few 996tt's. 997tt's as well now :) We've run mid 700whp on them commonly, and 800whp on occasion. I wouldn't push it to 1109whp though ;p Leave that for the 6speeds. But you can have some serious fun with the tiptronics!

Todd a quick question what kind of mods do you recommend for a Altima 3.5 auto I want to build the motor and tranny up to get the max performance out of it. It is slightly modded and chipped right but I want to put about 10 grand in it your recomendations will be greatly appreciated. I also just picked up a Z06 that I am going to put some work under the hood on this car as well it is already a beast but I want it to really perform. When atr you guys comming to Chicago?

We stick to Porsche's so we're not spread too thin. Tym Switzer has done some awesome things with the new Skyline GTR. I'm assuming it has a very similar engine to the Altima, but I may be way off. You may want to give him a jingle and see if he can do the Altima like the 700whp GTR he just did...

For the Z06, a client of ours just did one. Scott Bryant, or Divexxtreme. I think they ran about 730-750whp on it with a supercharger and a build. If you'd like, I could get you hooked up.

Your engine run for so many miles...with an incredible amount of power!!! I think because the porsche turbo engine are very very strong and reliable in the first place, BUT, your tuner has done such a good job with it....choosing the right components and setting the electronics..

i am thinking that VR's 996 might not launch with the same repeatable results as a Veyron would, and mightnbe be a handful from a launch despite awd....

i think the Veyron would stick out front by a length or two in the very beginning, till around 70-90mph, where VR's 996 would real in the slack, give a smile, and continue blasting past the Veyron....
