i can tell you know nothing about college hockey, just so you know, minnesota has had three times as many injuries as UND, including their top returning scorer Jay Barribal who got hurt right away and hasn't returned, at one point their top 3 returning scorers were gone for 3 weeks at the same time. one of our top defenseman missed 6 weeks with a broken jaw on an illegal hit to the head. minnesota has had FAR MORE injuries, and in case u didnt notice they split the series this year..

Wheeler wasnt going to waste his time with Finley, some rich Edina kid who is only fighting in college because most players are smaller than him. Wheeler is one of the best young players in the NHL Calder Trophy winner and Finley will probably be an AHL lifer and never make it to the pro's. Or if he does he will try and be an enforcer but he will learn he cant pound NHL guys like he could college guys. Although UND may have more national championships than the Gophers they won them with a bunch of Canadiens and Minnesotans, so those national championships are kind of Canadas and Minnesotas trophies if you think about it. Minnesotas titles were won by basically all Minnesotans. Thats why MN is the state of hockey we have a high caliber NCAA team built with basically players only from our state, no other college team has this.

i can tell you know nothing about college hockey, just so you know, minnesota has had three times as many injuries as UND, including their top returning scorer Jay Barribal who got hurt right away and hasn't returned, at one point their top 3 returning scorers were gone for 3 weeks at the same time. one of our top defenseman missed 6 weeks with a broken jaw on an illegal hit to the head. minnesota has had FAR MORE injuries, and in case u didnt notice they split the series this year..

Yea we lost to BC who actually has a decent hockey program as opposed to Holy Cross who doesnt give out scholorships...i feel better losing in the frozen four than in the early round to a team who doesnt have a tradition of hockey like BC or UM or UND

Wheeler wasnt going to waste his time with Finley, some rich Edina kid who is only fighting in college because most players are smaller than him. Wheeler is one of the best young players in the NHL Calder Trophy winner and Finley will probably be an AHL lifer and never make it to the pro's. Or if he does he will try and be an enforcer but he will learn he cant pound NHL guys like he could college guys. Clutterbuck could even kick Finleys ass, Plus Lucic will be protecting Wheeler in the pros.

Although UND may have more national championships than the Gophers they won them with a bunch of Canadiens and Minnesotans, so those national championships are kind of Canadas and Minnesotas trophies if you think about it. Minnesotas titles were won by basically all Minnesotans. Thats why MN is the state of hockey we have a high caliber NCAA team built with basically players only from our state, no other college team has this.

Oh yes I forgot Alex Goligoski, who plays on the powerplay with Crosby and Malkin. He is a future perenial all-star. Plus Jordan Schoeder will be a top 10 pick, and great pro. Lets not forget about Ness with the Islanders and Stoa will be great in Colorado I think. Wheeler is a great pro on a great team in Boston while Finley will only be a non factor enforcer in the NHL. He will learn he cant beat up NHL'rs like he did in college, guys like Boogey,Belak even Kesler from Vancouver.
