  • You are correct. Mama Can't Buy You Love was from 1979 and, in fact should be before Victim of Love. Even Little Jeanie could, be considered a 79 release, even though it topped the charts in 1980. As I don't want to redo the video, all I can say is...oops!

  • Nice video indeed!

  • Nice Video! So fun to watch all those records go by! It was like watching my own collection being played: I have all those discs, too! Plus "Mama Can't Buy"....

  • Where's "Mama Can't Buy You Love"? Wasn't that a single in '79? I know it was part of the EP "The Thom Bell Sessions".

  • Yeah...didn't exactly end the decade at his best.

  • @groovycleaner I would adore it if you would post the complete B-Side to "Part Time Love" the very under appreciated and almost unknown "I Cry At Night." I have the single, but your transfer acumen is tops!

  • Ooh disco alert at 3:20

  • A remake of Skyline Pigeon was the B-side.

  • Was 'Skyline Pigeon' not a B-side of Daniel?

  • Your welcome. I have been getting so many true Elton fans watching my other videos and I put this together just for them. I thought it was cool to show them all in sequence this way. Some of these singles were purchased when I was a kid and they had just been released. Others I have picked up over the years, a few at a time. I threw in some promos just to get away from that black rainbow label once in a while.

  • Thanks from another EJ fan!
