Bonjour, vous aimez les sixties ? écoutez et podcastez mon émission "le super son des 60's" sur le site de plumfm. You like the 60's ? please, listen and podcast my broadcast "le super son des 60's", connect to "plumfm". Salut et faites gaffe au rock and roll.
I bet these guys were Gods in Australia back in the 1960's. Americans might recognize "Friday on My Mind", but the only other song that gets any airplay is "Sorry". This band is sorely unrecognized in the US. Guitar chops are definitely in the genes of Young family.
Thanks for posting these wonderful Easybeats clips for us Yanks.
Are you kidding? This song I'd dance like the singer Steve is doing! He is a great showman and dancer..he keeps the scene going. Dance, man, dance! Wish I was there!!
Little Stevie is absolutely adorable. Oh my gosh, I'd hire him to come to my house and dance around like that. I could watch him for hours.I love Stevie Wright!
Good grief, what is going on with Stevie? That is just plain scary. Do you think it is a result of the drugs he was on? Batman!...yup he is flying. George and Harry walking up and down to the mikes...I wonder if that is why Malcolm (AC/DC) started to do it to? Their eldest brother Alexander Young, was a member of a band called Grapefriut. He (oddly enough) called himself George Alexander. Now there is some strange music.
Where's "Made My Bed, Gonna Lie In It"? It was on YouTube a few weeks ago and got pulled, which is b%llshit.. Somebody should put it back up; it's their other best song....
Not there was any doubt, but I think this video proves that the Easybeats definitely could cut it live! The Easybeats are by far the most underrated group in rock-n-roll history. Was there a more dynamic frontman than Steven Wright?
Steve Marriott of the Small Faces must surely be a contender!! (btw, have you seen Friday on my Mind live version? If not, check it out - you'll love it, I should think!!)
coolest song
