can someone tell me how to use a logo that I created with Gimp? I can make the background transparent but when I save it it just puts the white background back on it. I want just the logo! I'm so frustrated and so clueless!

youtube's default background is white so when adding a transparent background and uploading it as your youtube logo, it will have a white bg. if you mean when savign the image, only .png files keep the the transparent bg

@cluelessgirl100 When you done with it save the image. then when it says "your image name"(.JPG) ex: cluelessgirl.jpg

change the (.jpg) to (.png) This is what you want im sure. if you have a transperent background It will keep it if you post it on websites and such.

Two things.

1 I like Photoshop more,but I use GIMP too...cool that people make GIMP tuts.GIMP isn't as simplified as it looks :D

Also,another thing.

The White color notation can be #FFFFFF

Which by the way I only use it in that format.

What ever that was a tip :P
