  • As a fan of Firefly & Serenity this re-mixed trailer is a cool interpretation of the franchise. Send a copy to Universal to show them what they could have had.

  • Lovely work!

  • @riverfiretcm

    Its the Trailermusic of inception.

  • wow its absolutely fantastic! great work! it really gives you a feeling of the movie

  • really great trailer but it's hardly "Inception style" it's just using the Two Steps From Hell music that was also used in Inception

  • Fantastic!

  • Nicely cut together. I'm usually not a fan of "Let's put this music to this trailer but not do anything with the images" but this was nicely done.

  • Argh need in 1080p :P

  • Every other comment I've read about this video is "brb need to watch Serenity" :D

  • cant stop the signal!

  • This is great! Makes me want to watch the movie again. Hmm, where's that special edition DVD...

  • I suddenly feel like watching "Serenity" again! >.<

  • @FrankyT49 me too. Argh! I should be working! What am i doing?!

  • Awesomesauce. Well done.

  • You sir, need to be working for the movie industry making trailers! Or maybe Joss can hire to do the trailers for whatever he's working on so Fox will stop canceling his shows. Great job!

  • Jolly good job good sir.

I'm still amazed that Fox managed to get Firefly cancelled, but then again, Fox was ran by morons that cancelled alot of decent shows, and kept the brainwashing trash for the average redneck American. If your gonna flame me for saying that, you are going to clarify that you are one of the average redneck Americans.

    Enjoy your annual bath <3

  • awesome!

  • You guys are welcome to criticize the video all you like but I would very much like it if you didn't flame each other.

  • @Mechanicalbiscuit If you add the tag yt:crop=16:9 it will fix the windowboxing around your video. google "youtube formatting tags" for other useful tags to fix stuff like that.

  • @SirMildredPierce Didn't seem to work. I think it's because the aspect ratio is already stretching the picture to the corners of the window. Nevermine & thanks for the tip tho!

  • @Mechanicalbiscuit gud job

  • Bravo!

That just makes me want to go watch Serenity again!!

    /it just never gets tired...

    //Bring back FIREFLY!!!!!!!

  • That was sick

  • goosebumps

  • WoW!

  • I hear the creator of this video doesn't wash. TRUFACT

  • @Fangus13 Hay! I do! Annual bath coming up near xmas!

  • bravo good sir bravo. This is how I will convince my non geeky nerdy friends to watch firefly with me for the 17th time and they too shall sing the HERO of Canton when they are drunk.

  • @gao444 *bows*

  • @gao444 You ought to read a book. There's plenty of good ones. Start with Charles Dickens and Oliver Twist, then move over to Germinal by Emile Zola, then Heinrich Ibsen's the Doll House. If more is required, read the collection Dubliners by James Joyce.. After that.. Pastures of Heaven by Steinbeck. Did I leave out author Emily Bronte ? though personally, I hearken to return to Plutarch, who tells of real people of his time. (psst give Wole Soyinka a go, and Ha Jin).

  • @Joeey I do read books. However it does not stop me from watching a great show and singing a great song while having a great time. I read the Le Comte de Monte-Cristo every year since it is my favorite book. I am surprised that with all your reading you have yet to grasp the concept of hyperbole. Well after reading some of your other comments, I have arrived at the conclusion that you are simply a troll hiding behind fancy words. You ought to enjoy life a bit more and stop raining on my parade

  • Serenity probably would have had a lot more buzz/box office success if the trailers had been this intense.

  • This is badass.

  • @Joeey "The whole principle [of censorship] is wrong. It's like demanding that grown men live on skim milk because the baby can't have steak." — Robert Heinlein

  • @davidrigel We aren't meddling... we are just showing you how to live

  • @davidrigel I never said anything about censorship. I said, in effect, consuming this violence orgy is unhealthy. i am encouraging critical thinking and choice of what one consumes and fills their senses with (and carries with them as residue).

  • @Joeey This entire world is "unhealthy" for us. I say that video, alongside "educational" videos, helps us as a people grow. We are complicated creatures. Simplification of our process of absorbing information through our sight and hearing down to simply what is "healthy" for us is robbing us of the important experience of what it is to be human.

  • @ValeDurandal Good point. Now, about this video, let's talk about it being a little "mondynamic..." :-)

  • @ValeDurandal typo correction "monodynamic." Pardon, I was in a hurry to get out of here. PS I still think it is too abruptly violent.

  • @Joeey I can see how one would think that it's too abruptly violent. I still think it goes a bit far to completely disregard it and think that is has nothing to offer in terms of critical thinking. Although that might be because while watching this video, I was thinking back on watching the movie as a whole and what concepts it offered.

  • @ValeDurandal The problem with these stimulating and fantastical (fantasy) movies that every American has endured, Stars Wars, etc. is that yes there is a great message but it does not scale to real life unless you believe in some type of mystical blessing from the movie. And the message is highly compromised by the quantities, the included grain hoppers of violence. (cont.)

  • @ValeDurandal Vale, (cont) The author of the Watchman graphic novel / movie recently said he no longer supports "hero" idea because no regular person can be this type of "hero" without tools, money, equipment, "powers," can be effective. Regular people must be made effective, seen to be effective, shown how to be effective, recognized as valid and effective.

  • Meh..

  • Shiny!

  • This video has done the impossible, and that makes it mighty.
