  • Good for him,but is not that incredible,if he has 70-75 kg it is normal to push 90 kg chest...at 75 kg i pushed up 120 kg (6 reps),now at 80 kg i can push 140 kg (3-4 reps)

As far as I'm aware of, age has little correlation to how much you can bench; it's your body composure and how much time you spend busting your asses at the gym or moping around on it at home. Yeah there may be 15 year olds pumping out 120kg or whatever but he might find other exercise difficult...

  • @ukzftwukz It's definitely possible, a friend of mine benches 100kg and just got 17 yesterday, after almost 2 years of training.

    That being said, his physique, posture and endurance are all absolutely horrible.

    He's always the last one in class when running because he refuses to do cardio ("kills gains"), he's alright doing chin ups but sucks at pull ups because he has no back to speak of, only biceps on chins.

    Basically, yes it's possible with 15-16, but not without lacking in other stuff.

But my comment was more aimed at those 15/16 year olds who try to kid everyone saying they or their friend can pull of 110kg or a set of 15/20 with 90kg and so on when everybody knows its pretty much untrue unless their training well with more than likely a trainer.   • Nice one mate, I think you found that easy from what it looks like. I'm assuming you didn't have any more weights to add to it? If thats the case try variants, on grip width, speed of movement, reps, sets and holding the bar at the bottom for even longer. Possibilities are endless :)
