There was no such event and our president has again and again invited the armenians to open their archives to find evidence, as turkey already has opened theirs for investigation. There was a maximum 1.2 million armenians at the time, yet somehow 1.5 died.

@PSAVA74 The armenians commited first degree treason by siding up with the enemy, a very shameful chapter to any country's history really (they try to justify this by saying that the ottoman rule were oppressive towards them). Any country at the time would of executed the people responsible. Now as the armenians had murdered turkish families and civillians, the gangs and families of the turks united and killed alot of armenians - the Ottoman empire was not responsible for that.

During the Ottoman empire, there was a form of ottoman state, you can call it, called Kurdistan, but there was also Lazistan, etc etc. (Lazistan is the northern part of Turkey, they also speak a different dialect, should they demand their lands back too?)
