Is it just me, or do all Sega games seem to have kickass music?

Although it is one of the first games released for the Genesis, it uses the PSG (along with the YM2612, of course).

I used to watch my dad play this game when I was a kid. It's one of the only games I remember him being good at.

Man music this epic is just... it uplifts the spirit I would like to remix this with a full orchestra. I mean to save all of fantasy land what a noble goal and that is what we must do in our lifetimes today. to save the part of humanity that cannot be proven or explained only felt. like a lovers embrace you know beyond a dout deep down inside that its right.

@ssjin4vegeta download a mega drive emultator such as kega, then play the rom file and when in sound test mode, save the audio as a .wav file. Simple

omg i have been looking for this forever thank you for putting this on OMG memories.......reminds me of flying on falcor from never ending story 2:38 on up was always my favorite part i used to die on purpose and time it to where you would fly faster on that part

I hate Space Harrier II, the arcade version is far superior, the MD port is really dumbed down.

First of all, Space Harrier II is meant to be a new game, not a port. It has new bosses and enemies, and while the scrolling effects certainly not as good as the arcade version, its still a pretty decent game. Also, its a console game, so it has a level select, which is nice.

You wanna talk about a dumbed down port, go take a look at the Master System version of the original space harrier.

the master system one is good. sure, it's not anywhere near as smooth as the arcade one. but it's still a good game

@milkybar100 This is the NTSC version that America gets in 60hz. Which means that us English get the slower 50hz version. Which is probably why you remember it being slower.

@milkybar100 I'm guessing you're European. In Europe, TV's were PAL and PAL TV's run at 50Hz. This is a recording from 60Hz, so it's faster.
