  • I don't believe Tex killed Sharon I will always believe it was Susan but if she didn't kill her she still wrote those words in Sharon's blood that in itself is evil

  • linda and charlie both killed no one and yet linda walked and charlies doin life. even tho she should have done time as an acessory to murder. doesnt make any sense.

  • @bbabyrock its diferent people because this is from the film

  • Linda Kasabian helped plan the murders

  • I'm actually reading the book right now, it's very good, haven't been able to put it down. Manson was pretty smart like this on several occasions (holding up the newspaper). But... on the other side of the coin, he was totally batshit insane. I wish somone would upload this movie on here, I haven't seen it in a really long time.

  • No wonder Manson lost the case, he had Major Hochstetter for a lawyer! Klink, what is this man doing here?

  • Wow, the great character actor David Clennon with a one-line part @ 5:50. Also love Major Hochstetter from Hogans's Heroes as counsel for the defense.

  • Why is Charlie's lawyer called Everett Scoville in the movie, but in the book Irving Kanarek?

  • @bbabyrock Educated guess... Kanarek probably denied permission to use his name and identity.

  • I honestly believe if it wasnt for Linda Kasabian Charles Manson and his brainwahed apostles would have been free for the last 40 years, tell me that doesnt terrify you.

  • This is a movie, don't forget.

  • What were they chanting when Charles was being pulled away?

  • If you believe Linda had nothing to do with these Murders then you deserve to believe in H.S. The same deal offered to Linda, was also offered to Atkins also who by the way never Killed anyone either.

  • @MrJerryw08 the big difference is that Linda was straight forward with what she told the prosecution and didn't waver. Atkins, on the other hand, changed her story time and time again, at one point admitting to killing Sharon. Then she changed her mind and it became Tex who did the deed. Linda never entered the residences, nor did she assist the others in killing. In fact, she actually lied to them about hearing people coming to stop it. On the second night, she purposely went to the wrong house

  • @MrJerryw08 which resulted in someone's life being spared. On top of all that, she told Manson flat out that she could not kill anyone. Susan Atkins may not have killed anyone, but she showed no remorse, she lied to the prosecution, she disrupted the trial, and she assisted in the murders of Sharon, Jay, Abigail, and Voytek.

  • 1:40 Describe what happened on trip number 23 LOL

  • OMG! Marilyn Burns so beautiful

  • @kiemthan1000 hell yeah she is!

  • Proof that LSD is a dangerous drug to be avoided.

  • sick evil bastards!!!! they went hippies they were an evil cult who also murdered a beautiful unborn child who had grown as a baby in sharons stomach for 8 and a half months. theres no words for what i could call them

  • @lizzykiss441 How do you know that the child is beautiful if it hasn't even been born yet? Calm down, bud. No need to get upset over something that doesn't even effect you.

  • @afrojayjay coz every child is beautiful , plus - I have a heart.

  • Mr. Bugliosi is a hard-driving prosecutor, with a polished education. Semantics, words. He is a genius. He has got everything that every lawyer would want to have except one thing: a case. He doesn't have a case.

Were I allowed to defend myself, I could have proven this to you. I could have called witnesses and showed you how these things lay, and I could have presented my picture.

    - Charles Manson

  • could that prosecutor be any more hammy? no wonder manson lost.

  • He doesn't seem to be vibrating @ 5:27

  • The new word for today children is PSYCHOPATH. Can you say PSYCHOPATH?

  • in England I mean.

  • Very good debate on here. I think the American courts meter out more appropriate punishments than the ones here.

  • linda kasabian was asked about when her state of shock ended. "I don't know when it ended. I don't know if it ever ended." I don't think she was smart enough to make something like that up.

  • its called aiding and abetting ronny, if you are there you are held responsible

  • @sunlover518 Finally someone with common sense with this.

  • nice ending lolz ill try to kill my judge for sending me a bill for 1,433 dollars man and im still in probation

  • LLOL, these trials are like the salem witch trials.

  • I hate hippies.

  • these people were not hippies. I wish the US media would stop misusing the term in the Manson context.

  • @sunbird2 Agreed!! Rotten Bastard and his Family are actually "slippies." They ruined the peace and love movement for everybody.

  • They are NOT hippies ! They were murderers ! Hippies DON"T MURDER people !

  • Not only did they murder all those innocent people they murdered the hippie movement.

  • @TheMagickScene Yes in a way they ruined it or the press did. The hippie = love/flowers/peace, but Manson and followers stood and stand for = kill/tortur/pain and all horrible things it is possible to think of. The real thing is they had nothing to do with hippi cultur. If you want the hippie cultur you need to look at Woodstock 1969 and consider all the political things that happened in 1968.

  • @TheMagickScene i totaly agree with ya there, hippies were about peace n love and freedom of all these things, but certainly not murder, the sickest one was that they killed sharons unborn child. BASTARDS, not HIPPIES

  • is there somewhere i can download the whole film?? plz some1 pm with links plz...

  • Heres a fact for you, All these facts you supporters claim is complete bullshit. You dont fucking know, She witnessed 4 people commit murder, She was probly scared stiff. If she would have tried, they would have killed her and her children. You Cm followers are just pissed because the real FACTS got exposed.

  • orgasmtron: I really think CM supporters have built up this image of Manson as a folk innocent folk hero who was railroaded. They need to discredit people like Kasabian because they don't want to believe Manson actually helped orchestrate the murders. I'll never quite understand how they can get past the fact that Manson tied up the LaBiancas &then left them for slaughter. Some of them claim that was made-up, even though Manson himself has admitted to it. Manson supporters get pretty fanatical.

  • I agree 100% What gets me is these they try to tell people on here, but if you research these claims, their is nothing to it

  • People use the nixon theory too, which I think is stupid. Because half the jury probly didnt even vote for nixon, or even liked his policies

  • They murdered innocent people. Of that there is no doubt. Why does anyone try to justify those murders?... it beats me

  • Right on, people are forgetting that mansons lawyer was killed, then fromme made death threats, good tried to killed gerald ford years after the dam trial.

  • get your facts straight please if you are going to argue. Fromme pulled a gun and pointed it at FOrd(with no bullter in the chamber and did not fire even though she had time). Goode made death threats(to oil companies who are destroying the earth). Pat K's lawyer died. And people are saying Manson supporters dont know anything, ha ha ha ! And by the way I wouldnt supporting Charlie if I thought Bug's theory(pieced together in a hurry cause he knew he didnt have time) was true.

  • I wished I had a dollar for everytime a manson follower tells me to get my facts straight. The facts are straight, I am proud to announce that Susan Atkins s buring in hell as I speak

  • If i had a nickel for every time someone called me a "follower" I'd be rich. I guess you need money, which proves ignorance isnt bliss. You cant possibly have much intelligence if you are going to rant and rave so much over something you know nothing about. Extreme hatred doesnt help either. Oh and heres another fact for you: There is no hell. Except for some, right here on Earth, it seems to me you live there, as Susan did.

  • When you reply to me in his defense, that is pretty much what follwers do. I have been giving little Charlie children something to talk about for the past month or so. You all use that same catch phrase " get your facts straight ". When there is absolutely no facts, just propaganda that you are selling to lure freaks into follow

  • You make a good point. I'll have to admit that after reading "Helter Skelter" as a kid, I hated Susan Atkins. I agree with you that Susan Atkins went through hell on earth to pay for her crimes.

I don't think she should have ever been released and she died where she should have died in prison. She died in peace and given meds to ease her pain. Which is something she did not allow Sharon or the others.

Even Debra Tate stated that she would pray for Susan's soul when she died.

  • Manson's lawyer was not killed. I believe it was Van Houton's.

  • If anyone believes that she went both nights and did nothing but stand around, they are crazy. SHe gave Bugliosi what he wanted to save her butt.

  • Yeah! Linda Kasabian didn't just stand around and do nothing! She also put a pillowcase over Rosemary LaBianca's head and held her down for Pat and Tex to knife to death, and THEN delivered 16 of her own stab wounds directly to Rosemary's back and buttocks!

Oh wait, that wasn't Linda. That was LESLIE VAN HOUTEN, the one YOU want to see released from prison, while you're here criticizing Linda for testifying against them all.

    Idiot.

  • Amazing. Linda killed NO ONE yet some people rag on her. Leslie just might be the only one of the women that could be released. MIGHT. But I don't think it will happen.

Krinwinkle is the ONLY one that has said "This (prison) is where I should be." Susan, Tex, Leslie have really never said that. Manson can rot. Tex too. The two women should also stay in prison as well until they die.

  • @ronnykmarshall Linda never served any time, she was the states key witness! She was free to go about her life! Although the secret service kept tabs on her for years...they still might, who knows!

  • @14BehindBlueEyes I think the secret service kept tabs on everyone from the family who is free once that fruitcake Squeaky tried to kill President Ford.

  • @Vauthier I'm sure they still do!

  • @ronnykmarshall manson should have been paroled over 20yrs ago

  • If you believe anything manson says, you are very weak minded. You only hear what you wanna hear. I found that most people who defend are mostly criminals

  • actually most people who defend Manson don't seem to be criminals. Most seem to be disaffected kids who use their Manson support as a way to express their dramatic alienation from society. Teenaged outcasts. Interesting parallels to those who gravitated towards Manson in the late 60s.

  • Just a point of law: When Manson showed the jury the Nixon headline; it fell under the law of invited error, which basically means that the accused cannot benefit from their own wrongdoing. Had any member of the prosecution held the paper up in the same attempt to influence the jury, then there could be grounds for a mistrial. The judge was correct and the appeals court endorsed his decision later.

  • he dosent seem to be vibrating

  • This is the second crucifiction of christ..

  • holy shit! what are those crazy chicks shrieking at the end?

  • well you know what? It went down that way and we can all learn and the right verdict was cast. please do not forget the victims. it could easily be us or our family members. peace and love to us all

  • yes it would happen today because it is a defense dream . you try them together and if one jurer finds one innocent.... hung trial. this case was a lose lose situation. any defense atttorney would know it was a lost cause.and what happened to ronald hughes?

  • Who let them all be tried together? that would never happen today.

  • the lawyers tried to sever the cases but the girls chose to come under a united defense, as per Manson. they even tried to get Tex Watson to come back from Texas and join them, and even while Linda Kasabian was testifying, the outside family members showed up at her lawyer's office trying to convince her to repudiate her testimony and join them, too. Legend has it that Clem wore a live snake around his neck and Gypsy threatened "if Linda testifies, 30 people will do something about it."
