Has hecho un gran trabajo ¿eres pariente de George Martin? En serio, realmente bueno, además, hay un par de versos que no había oído nunca, y eso que me gusta la canción desde que la escuché por primera vez con 14 años ¡en 1974! "With your long blonde hair y your eyes of blue". Me sirvió para declararme a mi mujer hace ya tantísimos años. Gracias por subirlo
This really is a great remix of trying to get all the versions together. You can actually get one of those 2 verses in true stereo from the Yellow Submarine DVD. I've been working awhile on taking out the vocal track from one verse and mixing the deleted mono verse in to try to make a more complete stereo sound. Good work!!
@charlie3684 Thanks! I would try something like that myself but I only have Yellow Submarine on VHS lol. My parents bought it before DVDs became popular, and we haven't thought to buy the DVD version.
very nice mix. i'm surprised you didn't get any cross fade using two differnet tracks. i'm a fan of the original materieal the way geaorge martin and the beatles wanted it, but i also love remixes and remasters.
@dltiberio I've already made a few. I've uploaded two of them to YouTube. But none of them are anywhere near as good as this one. I'll make another one whenever I feel inclined too, this isn't a regular thing I do, it's just something I do when I have the opportunity (usually whenever I have a longer bootleg version of a Beatles song).
@mellophonius When I meat "like this", I wasn't talking about the "Wall of Sound" thing; what I meant was, is it the intention of the program to splice songs together, or...?
@dltiberio The program is a basic audio editing tool. Play two or more things simultaneously, play something backwards, faster, slower, higher-pitched, lower-pitched, single out the left or right channels of a stereo track, and loads of other functions I don't even understand.
@getback9691 Yeah, I've been meaning to clarify when the music actually starts. This is the first video I uploaded; otherwise I probably would have thought to just put the full explanation in the description area and just start the music at 0:00, lol
@dltiberio audacity [dot] sourceforge [dot] net is its site, and it may have been updated since I first downloaded it. As far as making another song like this, it depends on what you mean by "like this." The whole Wall of Sound effect was purely coincidental, and as much as I can guess, only comes from the fact that the mono bootleg and the stereo album track are playing simultaneously. Maybe they're like one millisecond off, I don't know.
The first remix I've liked. I really didn't like the CD version of the soundtrack because they brought George's voice up from the general cacophony, and I like it recessed in the original version. Very Phil Spector/Wall of Sound (back when he was human). But this is great, didn't know they shorted us on the lyrics.
@slothropgr Thank you! Yeah, the Wall of Sound was the first thing I thought of when I played it back for the first time. Oddly enough, I wasn't aiming for that or anything at all, just trying to see what the stereo and mono versions would sound like together. Now it's the only version of the song I ever listen to.
Everybody assumes that it is George that utters the doggeral at the beginning-but it is clearly classic John. The enitrety of the song itself is stoned magnificence.

I love true beatle freaks such as you. I saw them when they first came to the US and the first albums I ever had were introducing the Beatles and the Beatles 2nd Ablum. My uncle Jim game them to me and my older sister. He did not like them. I think he bought them and knew we liked the Beatles. Again, I appreciate Beatle fans who go to the effort to get these one of a kind gems out. Thanks Friend!
Kudos to you. I use Audacity and love it, compared to the way I used to do it (headphones), reel tape, razor, ect). For kicks I made some alternate stuff from 5.1 recordings by isolating the center channel, then getting the conventional stereo mix , OOP it on the left channel, center channel right. try it
@capitolemiproducer Lol wow, I'm too much of an amateur for that to make any sense to me. I've got an mp3 file of a song I'd like to try this on, how exactly do I do all that again?
Too bad it wasn't part of the Yellow Submarine Songbook Album. The ending would have been much more epic than the six minute version.
Sorry I deleted your comment, my computer was screwing up. I was trying to reply. The song should have at least been on the Anthology, with the 10-minute cut of Revolution and Carnival of Light. I remixed that Revolution (RM1 Take 20) with the album version similar to what I did here, and I'll try to upload it once I make a movie for it.
Thank you! And I would have loved to make it with the remastered version, but I mixed this before the remasters came out, lol. Maybe one day I'll get around to recreating it with the remastered version...

@dltiberio It didn't when I downloaded it. As far as I know, it's safe. I never had any problem.

Seriously, this rocks, but where do you find this "Audacity" thing anyways, and is it easy to make other songs like this?

Yes,
this is
the future
of music.
Too much
for 1967,
we now
finally
comprehend
its majesty.

This remix is fantastic. I've decided "It's All Too Much" may be my favorite Beatles track of the gazillions that I love. Majestic and trippy.

Great Job!
I'm a pro engineer and music producer and this is a great idea and sounds great!
You captured the best of both versions.
