You have the "marked" player at which has the debuff for the infernal run to a tank back by jaina proudmoure as well as having ranged dps it down asap and move back to the boss... as he states you do not want that infernal landing on anetheron, with your melee dps sitting there as well as you may have a paladin tank tanking anetheron in which case, the paladin will take aggro asap with concecration.

i tryed this meathod on my guild and what happend was jeina died when anethron was at 15% cuz of infernals now i was healing the PALLY tank tanking the infernals now is there anyway that we can get jeina back on ranged dps like move the infernals or sumthing?

It's not a nerf, it's a bug. If you didn't notice Rage was doing his DnD alot while you were frost Nova'd. It's a bug from the recent patch.

We are having a problem with the OT grabbing the infernal.

1. What should he do since they are immune to taunt?

2. How many healers on the OT and can they avoid Carrion Swarm?

3. Do you have your raid in a 360 degree around him or like a 190 degree semicircle?

The thing with Carrion Swarm is that the CD for it is shorter than how long the debuff lasts. So spreading out is very important (or some quality SR gear).

What do you mean with unlucky Carrion Swarms? It doesn't hurt to much and it heals you for 75% or less right?

it doesnt hurt to bad but if it causes your healers to do 75% less healing, to many MT healers get hit by this and there is no way a 200 holy light is going to keep you up (or 100 flast of light for that matter). sure this might not be what your healers will end up healing at but you will die if more than 2 or so get hit by the swarm.

200 holy light? 200 x 4 is 800. Max rank holy light heals for ~2.3k with no +healing, so wtf?

T5/6 Holy pallies w/ average +healing will put out ~4k holy lights, ~1k with carrion swarm.

IF you're not having mana issues, you may as well toss some 1k(1.5k crit) heals. It CAN save a life.

ummm if you're having a pally mt this you could run into the problem of him grabbing agro of the infernals, throw a warrior on anetheron and use your pally to ot (the ot spot will be take more spike damage anways).

All depends on what your guild does, some guilds use a tank decked out in FR gear to just tank all the infernals. This kinda tank will need 2 healers coming to the end of the fight.

If you'e killing the Infernals, just 1 good healer OOR of the Carrion Swarm is needed.

Jets how we do it is we tank Aneth by the catapult in front of Jaina facing away from her, with the Infernal tank right by Jaina. We place our healers in groups of 2 at each compass point around the boss.

However ranged dps is positioned only west and east of the boss, or to be precise, on the hill atop the catapult and at the bottom of the hill by the mass of NPCs facing the Alliance base gate.

This ensures everyone is in range of healers from at least 4 unswarmed healers. and everyone, barring the 2 farthest healers have a clear road to get to the Infernal tank.

For the 2 farthest healers (the ones who'll stand at the bottom o the hill by the Blacksmith), we usually use druids for travel form and a dash through the boss. If we dont have 2 druid healers that night, we just have them move away from the other healer and have a hunter MD it to the Infernal tank.

While easy this boss can mess you up in short order with some unlucky combos. Since we killed him, we wiped for the first time on him last night when he...

1) slept someone, then dropped an Infernal on said persons head. Luckily the Infernal tank was a pally an grabbed the Infernal before it killed anymore but the slept person.

2) Dropped an infernal on a person, then immediately Carrion Swarmed that area...2 healers + 3 dps down.

3) Dropped an infernal on the tank, CS, then crushed.

One shot rage and trash (first night in) and then decided to give this guy a shot. we only had 6 healers and so healing was short to begin with. i beleive we'll get him soon enough. already 3/4 5/6 and the guild has been together only a month. We also 13 manned the first 3 waves the night before we went in there as a guild. was a blast

the healing with even 1 rogue is not the problem tbh, as long as wounding poision is up the whole time ull be fine and your hunters can do their now button mash macro, the key to the fight is to take the infernals down fast so you can get back on to anetheron him self
