No song has ever resonated with me as much as this otherworldly masterpiece. It takes me back to a winter Sunday afternoon where I was driving around Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis feeling so lost and alone. So many things in my life needed changing. Halfway through this song, and mere words can't fully describe it, but I was overcome with this sense of pure love. I was in the presence of a higher power. This song means so much to me. Thanks for posting and sharing your beautiful photos.

The first thirty seconds of this are absolute heaven.

I recommend Cocteau Twins for music like this. To me their albums are more consistent than the fantastic Bel Canto.

please someone post the remix ep where they repeat over and over using echo in the specific remix. it has no beat to it almost acapella - it is beautiful and there is someone copying. it has the 'oH oh ah ah' repeats, then another line is added which echoes and repeats, etc. I use to have the ep but lost in move and that is so great and their manager needs to know some woman or group copies it in some movie soundtrack. If interested in the copy i'm speaking of let me know.

@Pschyrembeladdi You were right, Verena is another wonderful song. I don't believe that Bell Canto has it in them to make a misstep in their artistic expression - from deeply moving lyrics to ethereal music, all wrapped in a message that serves to uplift the soul.

A fantastic song indeed but I have a completely different take on this tune.

I like to play this song when we have severe thunderstorms in our area especially with a threat of tornadoes.

@DNR5586 I could also see this song being played during a journey of some sort - in a car, boat, motorcycle or airplane - soaring and then dipping as the song rises and falls. After the intro when the words begin "There is a chapel in the woods" I could see someone riding a horse at full gallop through a forest and encountering interesting creatures . . . anything that a dream can imagine.
