  • are tthey hydrostatic

  • haha always ford giving problems ;)

  • hey heres an idea... get a ATV

  • @itsallgoodr8 HERE IS AN IDEA BUILD IT DONT BUY IT fago

  • ...dont you usually use mowers off-road? i might be wrong though

  • @corvettkiller666 YOUR FUCKED think of it what do you think the word mower means?

Obviously you use the "off the road" but offroad more means Like mud/rocks/hills ext.

  • @BreakingPoint2k hey ,fuck you dumb shit! i dont know about you but there is NO road whatsoever on,over,in or under my yard. and my yard is mostly rocks and hills and when it rains all the dirt gets wet and turns into mud. another thing that is special about my yard by the way. and FYI the correct abbreviation for the word etcetera is etc. ,not ext because the word is et-cet-era not exetera. stupid ass.

  • hey if u want that thing to be easyer to shift with out stoping just remove the brake

  • @dragata1

Or you could just hit the clutch a little so it doesn't engage the brake....

  • this looks like fun

  • man, now thats just good wholesome clean pure fun. nothin wrong with that

  • SWEET! Looks like you guys had fun! I cant wait to ride in the snow! With a little work, you could make those things unstoppable! Looks like the green pipe framed one has some stuff done to it. 5*s

Look up my vids when you get a chance, we beat lawn mowers too!

  • so if this videos so terible farmadeer i have one question. What are you doing looking for videos of people mowing you faggot.

  • ...and you have a video of you/your friends getting purposely tazered. Right.

  • No you suck!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey you guys are from Ontario canada? OMG I am from buffalo. We should all meet up sometime... Check out my new vids guys. Oh nice pics on extreme mowers

  • wtf?!? the front tires at 1:23

  • its a ford lollololol

    thanks

    halo3lovin

  • anyone got suggestions for how to beef up my brakes on my stock tranny. Is there a way to put a brake onto the existing brake?

  • are u guys runnning stock pullly or what im working on a general lee tractor for offf roading and i would like any tips u could give me

  • Comment removed

  • can you use these things to modifie to a buggy

    sorry i'm dutch bad inglish

  • lol without the deck can't a mower do just about anything a 2x4 atv can?

  • is that a stock lawnmower engine, or did u put something else in it? and can u go into more detail about chainging the gear ratio?

  • changing the ratio is quite easy, you simply want nearly a 1:1 ratio (smaller pully on the engine, smaller pully on the rear) you can find pullies at your local hardware store for a few dollars, so just experiment and find what works best for your tractor.

  • i am running a 8 inch on the engine and a 4 inch on the trans

  • hahaha that is the best off roading ever me and my friend did that on his farm but he had alot of mud it was fuckin crazy

  • do oyu have email?

  • hey how do you make lawn mowers go fast like this?

  • change the gear ratio with different size pullies. But rember to take safety into thought when making it anything but stock.

  • what was the ratio you used?

  • @mossbergman11 Put a small pulley on the trany and a big one on the motor.

  • haha thats intense

  • i just got a off roading tractor how do u look the rear

  • howd u make it so fast

  • y' know: when u think about it, its really alot cheaper to lose the deck on a lawn tractor and rig the tranny to get a mean off-roading machine instead of buyin' an ATV worth

    $1,000+ Don't u think so ??

  • i think so to, we just bout a honda rancher. but i think a lawnmower with tranny like you talking about and a locked rear-end with a locker with some bigger tires would be bad ass. plus you could drive it down the street

  • lawn mowers are bad ass. i have one and i prefer it to my quad bike!

  • this is the poor mans atv haha

  • i have just got off ebay a rover colt wich has a small 5hp engine for a very cheap price, would that do will in stuff like this

    thanks

  • are they stock mowers ??

  • Love both the green ones...

    awsome video

    5*

Some agressive tractor tires wound inproove traction like you would not believe

  • I do the same with my tractor i have a big pit it awesome you guys rule

  • at 56sec that is the BADEST MOWER EVER!!!

  • what is the easeist way to take off the pulleys

  • pully puller .. or torches lol make sure you dont get it too hot and wreak the seals. Also make sure all pins, set screws, ect are out/off.

  • @redmand18

weld a bigger one onto the stock one, i did that and wheelied my mower.

  • i was thinking if the motor was a 19 horse wouldnt the gears be able to handle a little more abuse

  • as long as you dont gear it too high. The transaxle can usually handle alot of power, what breaks them is spinning them too fast.

  • what would happen if iput the pully that is on the moter on the transmision and the pulley that is on transmision on the motor

  • well unless the transaxle pully is 1" ( I bet it not lol).... it wont work. And thats a little too much. For offroading you dont want extreme speeds (those speeds are also unsafe on a stock mower) for mudding/offroading, id suggest going 2" bigger on the engine and maybe 1 - 2 less on the transaxle ... That will be pushing the stock parts of a rider to their limits lol.

  • did you switch the pulleys

  • yup .. but keep the biggest pullies you can .. so you havemore belt contact.

  • how strong would the weld be on the differencial

  • well ... we try to avoid doing this, even tho it works, b/c the gears are hardened and it a pain in the ass to get a good weld, but if you can, weld in the spaces in the 2 inner diff gears (leaving the few spots that make contact with the main axle gears alone) but be sure none of the welds can beak or chip, b/c it will jam and wreak the rest of the transaxle

  • how do you lock the rear end

  • there are a few ways. Most easy was is to weld the gears in the diff together .. or find a transaxle the same as the one you have, and use the gearsfrom in the diff (hoping they are the same as yours, and lock them together), or have one machined and put it.

    hope this helps

  • thanks

  • how does it off road so good i have go cart tires on mine and it gets stuck on flat ground in the snow

  • some of us use chains, I ( the green tractor)studded my tires and locked the rear end.

  • wait, arn't lawn mowers normaly off road??????

  • that looks like the load of fun!!!!!!!!!

  • yeah baby i love offroading on ride ons yeah best stuff ever, don't flip them though thats not so good

  • Its The Canadian Racing Team

  • My tractor really dosen't like snow :(

  • so cool!

  • hey! incoming from norway:D

im doing this to but im all alone:P

is there any web pages i can visit so i can ask something or get advices?

    -RollOver25

  • goto heymow. com thats one of the best racemower (or anytype) for questions ... there is also a ATLM (All Terrain Lawn Mower Club) but i forget the address.

  • what did u do to mod it i have removed my deck now WAHT???

  • well. ... Just change your pulies around to get more speed.

  • whitch did u change??

  • I believe it had a 8" on the tranny and a 3" on the engine .... i swiched to 5" on engine and 7" on tranny.... The bigger pullies you use the less chance of your belts slipping underwater. Other than that, ther are skid plates and bumpers ... i dident do any modfications to the engine. (Im the green Mower)

  • Great video, I gotta an old mower I've suped up(Gears, header etc..), it now runs about 25+ and I took it offroading, and it keeps breaking steering linkages. You have any good ideas how to fix it?

    P.S. Ya'll rule

  • On mine, I believe its a 5:1 ratio gear box from a press, with a U-joint on one end and a flipper going to the front steering linkages. I got it that way lol.

  • buy a fourweeler

  • have one.... this is more fun.

  • thats sick, im offoradwhatever8 from heymow. Gotta love 300xdeeres mower, lol

  • im the one on the blue craftsmen

  • not babe check my vid's out an tell me what ya think
