There is a natural gas pipeline project called South Stream to go on the floor of the Caspian sea, to Baku, then through Georgia to Turkey, after which the US plans to supply Europe.My mistake, I meant natural gas pipeline.But yes, high oil prices are just more of an incentive to build such a pipeline.Of course,your leaders are tripping now after the Caspian summit, to which Georgia was not invited, at which the fate of the project was sealed as never to occur.

The point is, Abkhazia declared itself independent in 1992, but then Georgia invaded it. Given the Kosovo precedent, it should be independent. Abkhazians don't want to be part of Georgia, and the situation is identical to Serbia in every concievable way. I challenge you to find how Abkhazia is different from Kosovo, and why Kosovo deserves independence more.

We have a larger army, equally advanced army technologically if not better (ABRAMS and F16s suck balls compared to T-90 and MiGs) more sophisticatednukes, more nukes intotal, more nukes per square foot of the enemyland area, that can bypass all missiledefence. Russia has volonteer army almost the size of US army in addition to conscription. Once we blast some SMERCH systems at you your body armour won't help. There is a natural gas pipeline project called South Stream to go on the floor of the Caspian sea, to Baku, then through Georgia to Turkey, after which the US plans to supply Europe.My mistake, I meant natural gas pipeline.But yes, high oil prices are just more of an incentive to build such a pipeline.Of course,your leaders are tripping now after the Caspian summit, to which Georgia was not invited, at which the fate of the project was sealed as never to occur.

The point is, Abkhazia declared itself independent in 1992, but then Georgia invaded it. Given the Kosovo precedent, it should be independent. Abkhazians don't want to be part of Georgia, and the situation is identical to Serbia in every concievable way. I challenge you to find how Abkhazia is different from Kosovo, and why Kosovo deserves independence more.

Actually they have been there LESS than a hundered years, and the land is historically Serbian, as evidenced by the hundereds of 12-17 century Serbian orthodox churches which were destroyed by albanians. Kosovo is the cradle of Serbian civililzation and it is due to TITO that Serbians who left weren't allowed to return to Kosovo, which is when the ethnic composition of Serbia changed.
