  • i have been doing the jillian michaels workouts and i have not been this challenged in a long time it is great and you can do it at home which makes me feel a bit more confident lol. i also got a free calorie counter for my ipod touch and it helps sooo much. i enter what i ate that day and what i did when i worked out and it tells me if i gained or lost! its great. i have about 60 to loose and am gonna do what it takes to make it!

  • I would love to!!! I workout 6 Days a week for a Hour I will try to increase how long I workout probably about in a month or so,but now that I see I am losing I want to workout everyday.

  • @SW33TNSASSY8 thanks for the advice! i actually annotated that portion of my video since a lot of people were saying weekly weigh ins would be better! my scale actually weighs water %...and actually my water % is actually going up while still losing lbs..its cause i seem to drink more water while exercising and dieting! :) but thanks for the tip!

  • Wow, I watched this video just on time. As of tomorrow I'll be starting my diet. I know this is unhealthy, but it helps me motivate myself, I'll start a diet with a crash diet for around 2 weeks, and then I'll continue the diet in a healthy way. I had a jaw OP a around 3 years ago and I lost quite a bit of weight because I could only eat fluids, so I'll stick to fluids for about a week or so and then continue more healthy, but I'll be definitely be joining you on this journey!   • iNeeda loose a qood 30-40 pounds .im 5'0 and weigh around 139 . I've qained around +45 over a short period of time from over-eatinq & too much junk food Which has qotten me a over-exxaqerated belly. Thanks for doinq this its motivational.

  • I've lost 51 pounds since around Sept of last year. What's helped me most is the website/phone app myfitnesspal (it's a free acct). It has a database that has everything I eat, so no looking up nutrition facts. It keeps track of almost everything you have on your sheet. I really love Tara Stiles and Tone It Up & POPpilates here on youtube for yoga, pilates and workout videos.

  • Im so with you Janice. I had my baby boy 5 months ago and really need to get my ass in gear and get the weight off so I joined Unislim on Tuesday and I need to lose 40lbs to get to a healthy BMI which I think will make me look too thin if I make it to that particular weight but Im determined to at least try! I started Tuesday and up till yesterday (Friday) had lost 4lbs and was thinking well done me ... but .... this morning I had gained 3lbs back. What the heck!!! lol

  • im with u on this challenge journey ... i really need a buddy n tips to help me loose it... so lets get physical n loose the weight.. even though u look like u dont need to loose ... i already started cutting the rice... as u may know us pinays/pinoys love their rice w/ ulam but thats a reall no no right... lets all eat brown rice...so thats the first tip i have rice lovers such as myself..

  • This is awesome!!!! u remind me of myself. I try to get up at 4am and be out of the gym by 6-6:30.... it is the hardest thing ever!!!! especially if its cold! Ugh! I've slacked off and consumed way too much junk food while studying for my nursing state exam. But u've motivated me to "jump on the wagon".

  • i would love it if i could jump on board with you!! i've always been curvy, but last year managed to lose about 50 pounds and finally get to my ideal weight!! then towards the end of the year my dad fell ill and guess what.. i put all of it on!! he passed away new years day so i feel now is a kick up the backside to start again. and you seem like you'd give us all the support we need.

  • It's best to weigh yourself once a week as you can have water retention from day to day. You get a clearer idea of weightloss by keeping a weekly record of your weightloss. Well done x

  • Count me in! Right now I'm working out from home, trying to get in shape for my graduation from high school. Woo! I've lost 5 lbs so far, but I've been sick lately so I haven't lost any the past week... But at least I didn't gain! :)

  • I have been trying and wanting to lose some pounds for a while now, but I've really never had the motivation. After watching this video I'm motivated!! I want to lose at least 10 pounds. I actually started this week the first thing I started with is drinking lots & lots of water also at least doing 15 minutes of the eliptical in the morning then 30 at some point throughout the day! (we have an eliptical machine at home, I brought it into my room) I'm up for the challenge!

  • I'm trying to loose some weight as well. I'm 121 pounds, but my ideal weight is 110 :) I'm trying to eat all sweets and junks till 12pm - just before my lunch, so I don't eat desserts in evening, when my metabolism is slower. I also drink 1.5 litre of water everyday, I NEVER drink anything sparkling, any juices or even coffee. Only green tea and water. I do 15 minutes morning exercise when I wake up + walking outside for 30 minutes every day, cos I'm not a fan of gym :)

  • I just wna let you know that losing more than 2 lbs a week is not healthy. & if that does happen, it's prolly not fat. it's just water weight. i dont mean to sound mean or anything, i just want to let you know before you get thrown off thinking you lost this many pounds, but seem to "gain" it back. just drink lots of water so that your body won't retain water.. if that happens, then you'll think you've gained weight when it's really water weight.. get it? good luck :)

  • @fabenitez17 thanks for letting me know... i always seem to lose weight quicker in the beginning of my exercise and workout routine (first wk).. as for water weight..my water % actually has been going up since i started (my scale actually measures that)..i tend to drink more water than i normally do. thanks for watching!

  • I would love to join you. My goal is to lose 5 pounds. It does seem like that much but I am very short w/ a pretty small frame. I got to my goal weight this fall, but holidays, sicknesses, laziness put me up about 5 pounds. I will be looking forward to doing this with you. good luck!

  • I am so in it with you girl! I just got back into it a few weeks ago. My girlfriends and I do the insanity dvds everyday. and this week, since it was spring break, we decided to make it a 2-a-day week which means to work out twice a day. haha. we're crazy, but we're determined. so this week i've done insanity with my girlfriends and i've been doing p90x by myself. i haven't been pushing hella hard because i know my body's limit. but i am with you. WE CAN DO THIS! ^_^

I've lost about a total of 9 lbs in the past 2 1/2 weeks, but mostly water weight and just trying to eat right. i've been really watching my intake. my girlfriends and i will definitely try to vlog you next time. =]

  • It's great that your doing this (: You're inspiring. I go to the gym sometimes and i lose 200 calories sometimes or atleast 100.. I weigh myself, and I never seem to lose weight.

  • YAY! i am totally going to join in on the journey! because its amazing that your willing to put yourself out there because personally i wouldnt feel comfortable with sharing that with everyone. i always see people put up on video on weightless and i get motivate but then unmotivated easily. so your constant videos will help alot! and now i have someone i can share tips and tricks with and learn from. count me in 100%

  • I'm in! I recently lost 22lbs but gained about 15 back because I started taking the pill - this thing makes me so weak, I can't resist any cravings anymore. I'm so frustrated. I hope that I can get into a continuous fitness routine...Your video came at the exact right time, I just need to get back on track again.

  • @SOMETHINGaboutJANICE :) I'm sure you motivate other girls - I went out today and bought myself a diary to write down all the calories I consume/burn. I also did some online shopping..books about calories and cook books. I'm already looking forward to next weeks update.

  • Good for YOU!! I give you TONS of credit for getting up so early for the gym. You're doing really great & keeping a journal is so smart. I also have alot to lose. I lost 70 lbs a few years ago, but I gained it all back. It SUCKS. All that work for nothing. I started Weight Watchers last week and I vlogged about it, hoping some accountability might help me. I plan to update it every week. I'd love if you'd take a look. I'll do this challenge with you & keep you updated! Good luck!!

    gaining weight back that you lose...definitely sucks. i mean i didn't gain everything back but i felt horrible knowing all the hard work i put into it! :( yesss i'd love if you'd maybe video response your weekly updates! i'd love it!! good luck to you too!! :) we can do it!!

  • honestly, i really wanna do this weight loss journey. i always try to lose weight but i lose interest fast. i guess it's because i have no motivation. i believe motivation is the key to losing weight. so with that said, i'll try this weight loss journey with you. this could be painful but i think doing this in a group is more beneficial :)

  • I think this is a great idea. I'm moving to San Diego, CA for school at SDSU from Chicago, so that in itself is a motivator since a lot of people are so in shape over there. If I can, I'll try to keep on track with you and let you know what I'm doing along with filming some stuff I'm doing... If I don't... it's because I'm extremely busy but I'll try :]!!!     i think a daily journal definitely helps me stay on track and i find myself not snacking on junk food (as much). i looooove junk food too much and i think thats the hardest part to change! but i'd definitely love it if you joined!!
