I know your pain dude, I can't stand playing offline that much often because all the CPU does is just come after me, like if they are going to do that why not just be on teams? I've seen the CPU in brawl stand right next to eachother (not teams) and just wait for me to come back down on the stage. It's a load of bullshit and this is another reason why I think Melee was a better game, at least they will fight eachother and not be programmed to come after you the majority of the time.

There are certain characters who know how to spike, believe me I play offline alot due to me being kicked offline. I've been spiked by Ganon, Ike, Marth, Mario, and Captain Falcon. Ike jumps off the most for me.

no...it's hitbox doesnt reach below the ledge, and since fox's firefox move automaticly grabs the ledge befor he does it, he cant get spiked by luigi's taunt

actually on free for all i cant even play it with level 9 computers anymore. all they do is go after me no matter how many stars i have the first thing they do is kill me then wait to kill me again. you cant even play like that its retarded, so i stick to online : )

The only time that CPU's actually do that, I've noticed, is sometimes when they activate a FS. (Most noticeably with ROB) ...which does piss me off a bit :S

ya the cpus were very easy in N64. I remember on 5 stock with items off with samus i could beat three level nines on teams. (that was only cause i went to corneria and put on three links, had 2 of them on the lower area of the ship -- where they were too stupid to get back up, then killed them one- by- one. lol)
