Personally, I liked Mermaid Melody more the TMM, even though I it after Tokyo Mew Mew. MMPPP's plot made more sense to me than TMM's. The characters from both are all awesome, though (Except for masaya)!

yea.I tried the first ep of TMM in dub it SUCKED.I knew it was owned by 4kidz before 'cause I would see it on the site(I was wut?7?)but I would be totally pissed if they dubbed MM 'cause this is my first anime ever.& all their playing now is Sonic & Yugio which I rarely watch Sonic(couldn't keep up)& NEVER liked Yugio.So I watched TMM in sub.i didn't even know they lost the rights after the first 26 eps lol.

@kagssegal That's a tough call. I mean, technically, if a company is dubbing a series they OWN it... But it's more like borrowing. They have every right to change what they want, sure...

I gotta prefer the changes they made to Pokemon, though. The storyline is pretty much the same, not really any censoring (minus those banned episodes) and the names stick with you more. The voices aren't (always) bad and it satisfies the fans.

MMP doesn't do that for most people.

Mermaid melody is about Lucia, the mermaid princess of the North Pacific Ocean. When she was young she saved a boy who fell off of a ship by giving him her pearl, which is very important to mermaids. Now she is around 14 and must go to land as a human to get her pearl back, but villains are trying to steal the pearl as well. She can transform into Pink Pearl Voice and sing using her songs to defeat them.

i loved it watch it with subtitles and read the manga cos the show has filler eps!
