Bootlegs are being sold on Ebay. Various reasons and theories have popped up as to why the film has not had a legit release. Whatever the truth is, I want this film to hit the home market again!

I know I'm late to the conversation, but it sounds to me like there is some of Enigma's "Gravity of Love," which samples Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, as well as Enigma's "Eyes of the Truth."

Paramount has to release the extended 3 hour cut of the film in a remastered special edition with alot of bonus features. Michael Mann has to release this even if he disowns it after what happened with him and paramount. Manhunter didn't do well and he still released it and did a director's cut.

That shouldn't prevent a DVD release. Paramount had the masters including the extended cut. The only person stopping this release is Michael Mann. What a selfish tit he is.

It's the studio pricks who messed around with Mann's film, and if he doesn't want it releasing you ignorant fool, then he has the right to. Maybe he is working on his cut of the film.

This film's lovely, especially the scene (01:13) in which the nazi crawls in front of the evil spirit before being eaten: I laughed for 2 hours XD XD By the way, the monster looks a bit like Imothep from The Mummy, don't ya think?
