Those Celtics were just as bad on defense as the '05 Raptors who gave up 104ppg as well. Food for thought

But when u compare the individual wing players, In Jordan's time it was harder for wing players to dominate, which is y guys like Phil Jackson, Larry Brown, Doc Rivers, etc have said Jordan would avg 40-50ppg in today's game. @SmokeO Dan Majerle was a great defender u idiot, he was on the defensive team in 91 & 93. He was known for his D. Jordan got guarded by Dennis Johnson & at times Bird in that game when he dropped 63. DJ is one of the best perimeter defenders ever & Bird was good on D as well. Yes they did play D back then u moron. Jordan played in the most physical era with handcheckin & no D 3 in the key.

Dennis Johnson came off the bench and rarely guarded Jordan. Ainge = AWFUL defender, no length, no athleticism, barely touched him, went underneath EVERY screen. Yeh that was great defense.

His 69 point game... 6 assists and 18 rebounds. And in something like 11 of his 14 seasons he shot better from the field than his teammates. Kobe? No. Jordan had the ball in his hands perhaps more than any other player in history, and DESERVERDLY so; it was the best chance for a win.

Vernon Maxwell did not give MJ problems. Jordan averaged 32 ppg on 51% shooting against him from 1990-1996. Not sure where this myth comes from, but I've heard it before. Jordan did have one very poor game in 1992 vs. Houston, but several of Jordan's misses were from Hakeem's 8 blocks (and intimidation), not Maxwell's D. Again, 32 ppg/51% FG over 5 seasons (about 8-9 meetings iirc).

im a hardcore MJ fan from Houston,born in 1980 ive watched alot of NBA. there's no way the Bulls would beat the Rockets in 6. of course MJ is the GOAT, miles ahead of everyone, but as far as his team against the Rockets with the Greatest center to ever play, that would have gone 7 games. the Rockets were a great team that could not get anywhere in the playoffs mainly because of the Sonics, but they were the best team that could play the Bulls man to man. the Rockets were 5-1 on them in 91-93.

No way do the Rockets beat the Bulls in '94. Hakeem/Jordan is a wash (let's assume best case scenario for Hakeem), and then Grant/Thorpe are a wash. Then who is Pippen's equal on Houston? Who is even close? Nobody. Plus throw in Paxson/BJ plus championship chemistry and battle-testedness and it's Bulls in 6, MAYBE 7. Rockets have about a 10-15% chance of winning that series in 1994. 1995 is a different story, however, if Grant still leaves, due to the addition of Drexler.
