there is an abundance of whitetail in bc now that there letting you buy a whiteail deer tag and shoot either a buck or doe in the corresponding dates to avoid killing a mother or stuff like that but if i pulled my book out theres like 10 days or so to kill either sex whitetail! so they are overpopulating and diminishing food sources for other animals too top it all off there the fastest reproductive angulate....

Deer population control isn't really about "fun" although obviously many enjoy it. If left unchecked deer populations grow at an explosive rate resulting in serious consequences not only financially but also for public safety and heath. In many places deer are not threatened by animal predators so hunting is required for the public good.
