  • My brother almost applied for Vector. He happened to mention it at dinner the night before his interview/application. Lucky he did cause I called bullshit on them and he cancelled. He is a Freshman in College

  • they came back again to my college on Wed. i felt the need to shower as i pass them...

  • santa clause is wicked

  • This is a great vid! Thanks for standing up for the students. I'm thinking of filing a complaint at my school, since they were in our main hallway handing out candy canes last Christmas advertising 17 dollars an hour. My friend went for an interview, and it was so sketchy! Everything in this video is true!

  • lmfao CUTCO SUCKS

  • this is a completely one sided agrument by a nerd that failed at selling cutco, so instead of admitting the job wasent the right fit he atttacks them.

  • loool funny shit , i didnt pay for my knifes, vector reimberses 55 cents for every mile of gas milege . Its self motivated employment , if they want to be lazy asses good for them , i dont even have a car and this shit is easy . haters gonna hate , niggas gonna nigg

  • I'm working with vector right now and it's not a scam! It's the best job ever but it's not for everyone.

  • @wickedteej wtf see vector hires illiterate people that cant spell to save their lives

  • If Vector Marketing is such a scam then why are there so many successful people working there? Just curious.

  • @dudleyrhonda like who? is a scam and you obviously work for them you troll

  • @DRs0ul you make nothing by commenting on my comment.

  • @DRs0ul being his manager's later night booty call

  • Evil Ways? more like make me more money than getting scammed at minimum wage ways... I sold $30,000 in the Bush/Obama economy! Vector is more than a job, its a life changing experience and this is just more left wing propaganda. Typical of a college student who can't think for themselves.

  • so you do realize that all of your expenses are paid for through your taxes. like any other job you write off your business expenses. also you pay for the kit because if you didn't you wouldn't be able to sell anything. make sense? yeah, also you would make the money back in a day. I personally made only $23,000 this summer as an 18 year old. so do what you want, but don't talk about something when you haven't really understood or experienced it. Don't complain. those who do couldn't handle it.

  • now its $16.50 hahah, its total BS

  • k its no scam you dumbass. you pay $111 for the sample kit. why the fuck would they give you the knifes for free. if you work at a clothing store do they give you free clothes? no! you have to buy them you fuck. plus its $16.25 base pay. maybe if you actually went to the interview and tried the job you would actually find out that your a fucking retard and that it actually works. i just sold a $850 set and got $90 from it! and the appointments thing NO SHIT! YOUR A BUSINESS PERSON YOU DUMBASS!

  • @googleDOTca

While I agree that the person who posted the video is rather stupid, I don't think Cutco/Vector is legit.

I sold about 3,000 CPO before I quit, so I'm not talking out of my ass.

The reason I hated it was the constant pestering my manager gave me. 5 calls and 10 texts a day for a week was enough.

  • hahah you guys are hilarious. ive worked there this summer sold $18000 and made $4000 i believe around 150 tanks of gas and i probably have only filled up 10 times? so you may think its a scam. but it paid my bills :)

  • Wear the clothes the receptionist says that you have to wear -business casual. WHY WOULD YOU COME TO A JOB WEARING JEANS ANYWAYS?!?!?

How about you ask someone that actually worked with the company before judging us.

And why didn't you ask Campus Life if they allowed the company to put up posters? The lady said she didn't know if they talked to the Campus Life (in your video!) if they had permission.

And how dare a company post openings for their offices -and then EXPECT you to work.

  • my training was supposed to be tommorow. instead of dropping 150 bucks on some stupid fucking knives i cannot afford, i am going to be at home playing fallout 3. fuck em.

  • @kittygobark1 Fallout 3 will be a much more productive use of your time. And no I'm not being sarcastic!

  • Thinking wow out of 40 people i got hired this is going to be a good job, i was wrong. i was telling my sister about it and she was like "when i was at IU they tried to get us (as in students) to work.. so she googled the ugly truth and as did i. I was suppose to go to the training today.. but not after what i read. 150 dollar deposit for knives which comes out of pocket.but wait you dont get paid for the 3 days of training. why couldnt that be a deposit? Huge scam and i am not falling victim.

  • @cheersforbeers807 Ur genius! And you didn't even have to go through the training or any of the job to know the truth. Thank god youtube users are so smart and experienced. Oh wait? They're lazy bitches. Like you.

  • @heyhonobodyhome i am experienced this bull shit first hand, and pretty sure im alot more active then you in every aspect of life, so before you start calling people out on you tube like a spineless piece of shit re calculate your thinking.

  • I just moved and needed a job for a 400 dollar car payment and rent, this sounded good, so i called. The receptionist signed me up for an interview saying the spots are limited and its a first come first serve basis for interviews so i did an interview the same day. thinking it was a one on one interview there were at least 40 people inside a little office that you cant even mapquest. after the manager gave his sales pitch he took us one by one and told me he picked me and another... continued.

  • DO YOU WANT A DOOR TO DOOR SALES JOB SELLING KNIVES? Well that's what you'll be doing at Vector. They target naiive college students who are seeking summer jobs. You have to pay for a sample set and a security deposit on top of that. No one in their right mind with this economy is going to pay a door to door salesperson hundreds of dollars for a set of cutlery! Warn your friends about this company!

  • @VIEWTUBE00000 Its not door to door dumbfuck. The girl in the video even said, you can only sell to people who have been told about you and vector. And then you make an appointment with them that they can refuse. No surprises! Asshole. You haven't worked a day in vector. That's like hating a specific race without every talking to one of its members.

  • It's not a scam. My brother-in-law has been in sales for over ten years. He knew the company when I asked about them and explained to me how it would be. I know several people that have done pretty well working for Vector. It's a difficult job, but it is good experience. I'm doing alright so far (three weeks into the job), I've sold a few thousand dollars worth. I wouldn't make it a career, but there is money and fun to be had with Vector.

  • 15.00 base pay now yet they dont tell you you are self employeed and you pay your own taxes and you use your own gas so that doesnt leave you with anything left for you lmao yes its a scam the reason i know this is because ive been hired by vector marketing and attended the last 3 days of training and not once has any of this been mentioned till i asked 1 on 1 and the intire time ive been given a sales pitch the intire time

  • @Jph80020 You nailed it, sir. And it's funny how Vector has now put up all these videos on YouTube to counteract my honest video. I'm sure they hate that the top videos on YouTube's "vector marketing" search are about how they scam students. HATE IT!

You don't have to believe me though. Give them a call and try to ask questions. See how they answer you in a shady way. RED FLAGS PEOPLE!

  • thank you!!!!

  • i just called them and asked what they do and the sells rep wouldnt tell me how much she gets payed

  • I TOTALLY AGREE.

and I STAND BY MY RESEARCH.

for those that work for the company, you guys are STUPID.

you guys like earning DIRTY MONEY.

    DISGUSTING!

  • wow...if you're not lazy, you can make a ton of money. so, you can say it's a scam, but I'm making bank

  • @ccdrummer are you in school? whats your secret? I have an interview this week.

  • @Calipeach8 DONT GO!

  • What? you actually have to work to make money? Thats insane! You should probably just wait to sell off organs. Good luck.

  • who do these people are giving collage students scholarship oppertunities and a chance to learn to be an independent entrepreneur. so vector marketing just know those collage students don't want oppertunities or to graduate debt free they just want to work 50 hour weeks just barely getting by until they die at 75 and never had the chance to retire. so stop providing a better america/world ya hear??

  • OH MY GOSH! how dare a company sell you a $500 set of knives for $150! that would be like working somewhere and you have to buy the outfit! that's just ridiculous! and you have to get your own referrals??? what??? that would be like walmart doing something like advertisement to bring in customers. that's unheard of!. then you going to say people who act like the ppl in this video who get bitter when they get told no weren't hired and given really sharp knives to try to sell?

  • you are such a moron...I'm actually a current rep there and i just made $2,000 this week selling cutco so tell me how much was your check for?

  • these vids are so misguided...

sold 12k easy, opening a 3 month branch office for the summer, produce $120,000 in office sales.

that concept of 10% of the world leads while the rest follow?

i prefer to be the 10% who worked their way there as a student and it bugs me to hear about people being so outrageous with vector allegations

  • @AllStateReynolds o "wheh you bitch

  • @greekgus I wonder how much they paid you to write this.

  • its a good place to go meet nice honeys tho hahaha

  • Honestly, I don't get why people debate about this. The facts are that 1) There are a group of people who have had bad experiences with the company and 2) There are a group of people who have had great experiences with the company.

If you want to take someone who dresses up as Santa Claus or wears a t-shirt and new balances to a job interview as an expert then I hope you find some sense. If you are name-calling or getting defensive I would suggest letting it go.

  • @smallsbert it is a complete scam all I have to do is rent a small shack and buy a box of cut co knives I in turn then tell you to buy these knives to show good faith and then I tell you to practice what I did to you on your family while I make all the money, remember what they tell you the truth is the knives sell themselves? so why is that why im buying my job?

  • fuck now i already got hired on the last training day i tried to quit and my boss said no iam not going to let you and they were really misleadings. they have alos been sued at least 3 times. they do have good knifes though .

  • yeah sued by stupid dumb asses. anyone can sue, even f*** tards like you.

  • sishkabob anyone? gotti sell meats on campus!

  • Comment removed

  • i am stuck with the knife rep set those fuckers made me buy. what should i do? i dont trust them to give me a refund and they have my credit card number?

  • ireallyhatemorgan7 try to sell it

  • @ireallyhatemorgan7 Lol you actually payed for it with your credit card? Are you completely retarded? Well I have nothing to say after that.

  • i hope santa finds vector and kicks its ass lol go santa!

  • I say only apply to vector for the knives. Excellent product, love it to death, just don't waste your time working for them. 146 out of the pocket is fine, maybe do a few appointes the first week to get some free shit, but after that, don't bother. And make sure you have a job before you join vector.

  • @DalmationHuscky you know what, i know youre hating on the Vector part of it, and thats whatever, i'll admit as a rep, that sales arent for everybody, but at least you understand how awesome the product is. Cutco rocks!

  • This guy seems like an idiot and had nothing better to do with his time. I work with vector and i made back the 145 dollars worth of down payment because the you get are like worth 500 dollars. No matter what u do that will happen and showing up in to an interview like a pompous ass in clothes obviously not intended for a business environment. The people inform you of the dress code. The girl that went to the interview is a complete idiot and has no idea what she is talking about.

  • Really? ur a vector robot? What a loser! Get a life!

  • Hm.. considering all the money I'm currently making I'll pay someone else to fuck you in the ass. :]

  • A lot of money? Compared to what ud make at Mcdonalds maybe. U have a shit job. Get a life loser.....

  • Heh.. so immature.. you should watch your words boy

  • 5-figure summers... just from my assistant manager pay... and then i make more by selling. you make that at McDonalds? at minimum wage you'd have to work 23.8 hours a day to make what i did. suck it.

  • im with ya on that one man, it's crazy to think that you have to work your worth now in this world lol this is why over 90% of the population works in some service workforce. people dont want to work for it anymore

  • I work 3 hours a day for vector selling cutco and i make an average of $94.36 a day. the ppl that hate on vector r just mad cuz they didnt work hard enough or stayed long enough to know what the company was really about. p.s i just won my "starting kit" and nvr payed a dime for it . perks of working for vector in Wisconsin=)

  • haha, must be a henckles guy..worst video i have ever seen. No research done at all. Nobody says anything about an hourly wage at all. When you buy your set its a DEPOSIT. you can get your money back. I have been with vector for 6 months now and make soooo much money. Its not only a good money making experience but also teaches you awesome fundamentals on sales. I have taken more out of this job than any job ive ever had (electrical $15.00/hour, job site cleaning $110/day) dare you to try

  • this has to be the biggest bullshit video ever! lies lies lies!!!!!!!!!! vector marketing has to be one of the best things that has ever happened to me

  • Comment removed

  • Sounds like the rep in my office who showed up after one failed appointment and quit. Marketing is not for those who can't take failure. Its disappointing you chose not to do your homework on your topic before making a video about it, posting in on youtube and publically humiliating yourself. Moral of your story is, your a very poor sales rep, don't understand the concept of failure and have a low intellectual level.

  • You people are fucking retarted. The people that have bad experiences with Vector & Cutco have bad experiences because they don't know shit & sucked at the job. Sales aren't for everybody and just because we make more money than you doesn't mean you have to make it seem like we're horrible. Let's see. My 1'st week's paycheck was $471 your full time paycheck at a minimum wage job is prolly about $320 for 40 hours a week at $8/hr. You're a dumb fuck. I made 250 in 2 hours. So STFU u ignorant shit

  • i totally agree.even if you r a bit rude in your statement lol

  • Anyone elses office claim to be in the top 5 in the northeast? or there region and have a shitload of trophys lying around.

  • Hey, why don't you just shut the fuck up and grow up, life doesn't give you anything... you have to work for what you want.

  • haha, like i said in the other videos comments, it is a scam no doubt but all of the arguments presented here are ridiculous and petty. if you wanna convince people that vector is evil then at least use what little intelligence you appear to have. and that chick is retarded... shit doesnt just fall into your lap and all of a sudden your rich....

  • thanks man. whether you're pro vector or against, you should have a non biased fact based opinion lol.btw i'm pro vector and i'm at 18k in sales.like people say, it's not a get rich job and it's not extremely easy.

  • wow...does that chick really think there's a job out there that people DO EVERYTHING for you? work hard in vector and you'll DO WELL IN LIFE!~FACT~ besides that, the 3 day trainning may actually be added to any future resume as business' look at it and like it.plus, they ask you to dress in business attire.you failing to do so is your failure as a businessman. so have fun fliiping burgers.

  • She didn't say that jerkoff. I worked *WORKED* for Vector and regret it completely, I fell for the brainwashing and after 2 weeks I realized what I was doing to the people who were closest to me, I was taking money out of their pockets for shit they didn't need. It's simple; get college kids and some sob story THEY wrote (it's all in the manual) to sell knives and they'll buy because they feel bad.

I say this: stay away from Vector (I'm nodding my head...remember? From training?)

  • the last part made me lol

  • These guys sell across from us in a booth and im in college, the guy who looked like the manager was staring at me like I was his next victim to get hired, I stared him down and at the same time in my head I told him to "fuck off" then he looked away.

  • I love how people are outraged that they have to put a deposit on their sample kits. When you go to work at a number of fast food places, do you not have to BUY your uniform? This is the exact same thing. You are investing in your job.

I also love how everyone who calls it a scam (or almost everyone) either didn't get the job, or didn't last through training. Show me a rep that's worked hard, and still think it's a scam, and ok.

As for people not getting cheques, most branches do DD now...

  • Got through training, and got hired...>.>... I bought my knives, and I can get my money back if i return the knives, just liek a uniform, but i DON'T think i'll be returning them...

Great Exp.^^, and if you didn't get the job, or didn't last through training, it's just because you didn't, just accept it and move on with life.

Fairly bad at the job though, xD.jk. Work Harder I WILL!!

Danny is the best district manager, EVER!!!!!

  • my DM owns yours :P and yeah i was pretty horrible my first two weeks.just keep practicng and working at it

  • Its slightly a scam. You have to admit it seems like they are preying on young dumb people. If you cant afford the set dont take the job and buy it. BUT, when the make it harder to make sales by telling you you cant find your own references, the make bank from the 100s of people they hire every week to make up for those who have quit. Its not a scam but its not completely legit I dont think

  • @FallenName Its slightly a scam. You have to admit it seems like they are preying on young dumb people. If you cant afford the set dont take the job and buy it. BUT, when the make it harder to make sales by telling you you cant find your own references, the make bank from the 100s of people they hire every week to make up for those who have quit. • Haha i worked for 4 hours yesterday and made 400. Some scam.

  • you wont always have those days though. and with all of the phone calls, meetings you dont get paid to drive and attend, and all of the driving to your appointments......the pay you get isnt worth it. my sales are 6,000 and i still think its a scam. i feel like im a part of something so deceptive everytime i go into the office. good thing this is a summer job. it has a 90% turnover rate for a reason

  • haha wow this guy must have been rejected or work for some competitor of cutco! yes, vector marketing does not say "knife sales man job" but if you look into it they tell you everything! i really dont know how it is decieving or unfair. Why is it not okay to give flyers about a job opportunity to college kids? hahaha they "prey" on college kids thats hilarious!

  • this dude must have just started... haha scamed!

  • haha yeah! i just made $91 in an hour on friday! im so scammed! fucking loser

  • dude! lol you just wait ! you got owned hard! when i worked there. i pulled 3000 in the first week. but they never mailed me the check. talking to others they never did ether. they will contenue to say its in the mail. you "made" vector money. grats. and other one scamed

  • They have DD now....I get my check every friday like clock work.

  • shut up fag u probably work for then u little bitch

  • lol... this guy is just mad b/c he didn't make the cut. I started selling Cutco this summer and I make a solid $300-$400 a week while only doing about 15 appoints a week (not much at all). The people who don't get much money from it are the lazy asses who don't do anything.

  • Vector called e the other day. I dont know how they got my number. But I am glad I refused to go to the interview. I told the lady "I do want a job, but not with this company", then I hung up.

  • Okay, so on my first interview with them I was on my way into the waiting room and I hear unreasonable shouting, "GET OUT THERE AND MAKE ME MONEY!" That set off a small alarm right there. The condition of the office was another alarm bell. Its hard to see the big picture sometimes, and for someone with Aspergers Syndrome to catch on to it. Well, you get the picture. Even though I am a very committed person in my pursuits, I can't even spare the deposit on the knives right now. Good day.

  • and whatever money you put into your business, such as a suit, gas, entertainment for clients, your deposit for the knives, and anything else you may spend money on for work is tax deductable!!! how can anybody take a dude in a santa outfit seriously??!! you wont make money if you dont put effort in it..if you do what they teach you in the training course, you are set! ive made more money in 2 months than i made in 10 months last year

  • There is a problem, the level of investment depends on who you know. You don't always get a large return on your initial investment. If you know people who are able to afford these knives, great the sales work for you. However, not everyone is a sales person. From what I have read from professional chefs, a cutco knife is a decent knife, if you just want something that can cut. And the sandwich spreader is is great.

  • this is the most IGNORANT video ive ever seen. i have been working for vector for about 2 months now and have made serious BANK!! and even more ignorant than santa was that chick he talked to...the interview takes about an hour and a half, not from 10-4...yeah, you put a DEPOSIT on the knives (keyword being deposit) if you quit, you can give them back and have your DEPOSIT back..or you can sell them...vector has given me some skills not only in sales, but in everyday relations with people!!!!!!

  • finally! somebody that actually knows what the HELL they're talking about! ^^ My hats off to you dude. lol

  • dude i agree with this, i applied and im soon to be into the sales.. do u got any tips?

  • Mhmm, definitely a scam...

I think not. I worked for Vector when I was in college, and I watched guys like you try and half-ass the job and fail at it. You get out of it what you put into it.

If you don't do a lot of work, you won't make a lot of money. Sorry, but welcome to the real world. By the way, that money you "wasted on gas" is tax-deductible, because Cutco doesn't put 20% of your paycheck into taxes.

Cutco experience also got me my job in Goldman Sachs, by the way. Some scam.

  • i worked for vector this summer...you get what you put into it and it can be very rewarding if you have the right customers...i however did not...the worst part is that they kind of lie to you before you are hired. they claim it is not telemarketing, but it is in every way shape and form telemarketing. the worst part is you dont call random people, but rather people you know and you do not get paid for all the extra time spent at the office...

  • you dont buy the knive, its a deposit, you can get the money back when you return the knives. I have sold quit a bit of Cutco, an $2549 Ultimate set yesterday, at 20% thats a lot of money in 2 hours. 25% here i come :D

also the company gave me the opportunity to win the full homemaker which is a $915 dollar value and i only paid $112 for everything (yes I decided to keep my knives) and im gonna win much more. you people are just to lazy to actually do some work without being pushed by ur boss.

  • btw I live in Canada

  • hellz yeah! congrats man

  • Thanks for the vidio, I went to an interview, was hired, and desided to do some reserch. Guess who isn't going to be working there now!

  • what kind of "research" did you do? besides most people don't even do research correctly. not dissin you;it's just a fact.

  • Third, they make you pay for a demo set of knives. Standard business practice it may be, but this "job" is described as college student-friendly, and forcing a student most likely in debt to drop $140 is anything but friendly.

And please, anyone who says this is a great deal because you get 70% off: saving money on something you don't need is still a waste. Just sharpen your old knives: chefs better than you do so.

In short: Vector bad. Supporters worse.

  • Ok, i work for vector so im bias, but of course you have to pay because its like a deposit. You get your money back when you leave or you can keep the knives. Also i do not think it is a scam, in the company htere are people in their 20's making 6 figures regularly.

  • In Ponzi's pyramid, there were people of all ages making hundred of thousands, if not millions.

It didn't mean that there weren't people ripped off by it.

And deposit or not, this job is pandered to poor college students, and yet they still force students hundreds of thousands in debt to pay even more money to even get a job.

  • dude...if you work a wendy's they make you pay for a shitty ass uniform and they take it out of your pay. with cutco, you pay for the demo set ONCE, and if you quit OR get fired, you hand your demo set back and get your money back, and FYI, The whole fucking purpose is that if a chef buys CUTCO knives, HE NEVER HAS TO SHARPEN THEM! the old knives you have are shit...CUTCO knives, never go dull.. THATS THE DAMN PURPOSE!! dumbass...

  • Uh huh... and as someone who knows how to cook, I can say this:

I don't need to spend hundreds on a proprietary set of knives when my one chef knife is perfectly fine. Idiots buy new knives; real cooks just sharpen them again.

And unlike you, I'd rather be doing something fulfilling instead of acting like a sleazy salesman for a shady company.

You're the dumbass for being enticed to work for them. Have fun being in the shit end of entrepreneurship.

    Ignorant retard.

  • So when that shitty old-ass "sharp knife" snaps in half from relentless sharping after 1 or 2 uses, your retarded ass will go buy the same cheap shit. You lose money every time. lol. CUTCO knives, never go dull. you fucking cock slave. obviously you dont knw shit about what happens within the company. The only thing you go on is your vague assumptions. Your too fucking stupid to understand that Vector is a perfect chance to make some cash. I sold 4 sets last week & had a $1500 check.

  • First off, I've been using the same knife for years. "Buy the same cheap shit"? A knife is just a piece of metal, and as long as it's sharp and doesn't rust, then its perfectly fine to use. So again, why should I spend money on overhyped knives when I can just sharpen my own and have it still work perfectly fine?

And as for cash, I refuse to work for a company with shady hiring and business practices. Money? So what? Prostitution and drugs pays big too. Doesn't make it right.

    Uneducated Fucker

  • Look asshole. the shit you have will never be half as good as cutco knives no matter HOW much you sharpen them. but if you want to continue being a dick, have fun with that. "Overhyped"??? Why the fuck do you think Rachel Ray uses cutco? AGAIN! the only thing you have to go on is your ignorant & vague assumptions about a company you know JACK SHIT about. get your facts right before you talk shit about Vector/Cutco. you fucking poor ass breadbox inbreed freak.

  • good to see someone step up online against idiot people :D btw Cutco does dull over years, i went to a customers house once and she had 13yr old knives that were a LITTLE dull so im going over again next week to sharpen them for FREE :P as well, the factory would sharpen them for FREE... please tell the truth when telling people how cool vector and cutco are :P

  • thanks mike

  • okey, Its not a scam. Its just a little different than other jobs, at vector you HAVE TO WORK for your money in the beginning for sure but after a while when you become better and get more contacts you can qualify your recommendations and work SMART not HARD and make a shitload of money. The job IS for EVERYONE, as long as the person is willing to work for it. Quiters will not succeed in any job, yes they might get paid but never get a promotion. and have a shitty life.

  • yup..

  • Fucking poor-ass Inbreed retard... I am amazed by your unbelievable stupidity, YOU + LIFE = EPIC FAIL!! and for the record jackass.. um... YOUR NOT THE ONLY PERSON THAT COOKS!

  • Stupidity from where? Because I'd rather do labwork or internships or volunteering than working for a shady company like Vector?

You're the "poor-ass inbred retard" here, my friend, for being so blindly loyal to a company whose inner workings you cant even comprehend.

Have fun at your 3rd tier state college and your rent-a-bachelors degree.

    Uneducated idiot.

  • i graduated 4th in my class in high school and my current GPA is 3.8. please don't assume that we're all mindless, brainwashed laborers.FYI a lot of the top reps attend very prestigious colleges FYI. vector, like anything else has a wide variety of people who have various backgrounds.you're arrogant ignorance is infantile and annoying.please don't make such idiotic. poorly based generaliztions about we representatives

  • I find that really hard to believe coming from a person who uses the phrase "we representatives" in an objective clause.

Somebody here isn't telling the truth...

  • my grammer was a bit off but no one cares

  • Not to mention spelling. I find it really funny how someone who claims that someone who claims to be 4th in their graduating class with a GPA of 3.8 has the grammar, spelling, and intelligence of a 6 year old.

Either your school has extremely low standards, or you're a liar. To be honest, I don't really care which, because you're an idiot either way.

  • dude... you have some SERIOUS issues. I really do feel sorry for the poor people that have to put up with your ass, because I would have shot you in the face with a loaded rifle. All you have done is bitch about how you like using your old knives instead of buying new & Cutco. Not to mention the constant educational supremacy that you keep trying to pass off. Personaly, I think you are full of more crap than anybody else on here.

  • Again, I apologise if my comments come off as "offinsive, vulgar, or unprofessional" but r31ncarnat3d is a complete jackass. I know it sounds mean, and down right "Hateful" but i really do hope he dies a slow, painful death. People like him are a cancer amung society.

  • Ah, I'd say the people like you, rather, who would rather use their pride than their brains are a cancer.

This started because I was against the marketing practices of this company, because they are deceitful for their target audience. Then someone afterwards before you started mentioning how I was jealous with all the money he was making, disregarding the original comments I was making towards the practices and not the job.

Please, read the entire fucking story before you open your mouth.

  • As I recall, you started getting all pissy when i called out the fact that if you keep sharpining those old knives, then they wear down and break.. contrast to cutco knives, last longer & stay sharper.. you dont even read you own comments, do you?

also, dude.. seriously... when you try to turn an insult, at least try to make valid statements/comebacks. Like when I called you an inbred cock slave, you try to turn insults because you cant come up with anything on your own.

  • Because contrary to your stupid beliefs, as a college student I can neither afford nor need a brand new set of knives?

I do remember my own comments. You obviously don't remember yours, when you were trying to push on me that this was some necessary service.

And as for insults and comebacks, bravo. You win the insults. I hope you feel accomplished now. There are much more important things in life than that for me, but obviously not for you.

  • There you go again with your supremacy bull! All you have done here is fail at trying to patronize me & the people that work for vector. You keep trying to pass off that "you are better then this" and stabbing at other people's morality. WTF makes you think your morals are better than anybody elses? You are full of more shit then a truck stop septic tank. You have no right to judge anybody but your damn self, you fucking ignorant retard!

  • Extremely funny, because I think you violated the last line yourself too.

  • really? hmm... here is a good question.. who cares? now please, Fuck off..

  • Heh, kinda funny how you become so hypocritical and so pissed off at absolutely nothing.

But because you insisted, byebye then. :)

  • LOL! Whatever you say jackass. I'm not pissed, I just dont like your punkass, & you keep spewing out your shitty, smerky comments with no valid point but to be as annoying as possible. well guess what? you suceeded. now please.. once again I say it... Fuck off.

  • So now to round off your hate death threat to me, I offer you the following:

Please take a sharp razor blade, stick it up your mom's vagina, and give it a nice twist for me as punishment for giving birth to an ignorant degenerate like yourself.

    Have a nice life.

  • haha!, XD

Is that the best you got? you ignorant, unoriginal, cock sucking FAG! I said it once, and I'll say it again. YOU + LIFE = EPIC FAIL!!

yeah, I'll have a great life, working for vector making tons of cash with my easy-ass job, while you keep on working at taco bell for a living & still trying to pass off your vague educational supremacy bull**** on youtube. your morals are no better than anybody elses you fraud. Now please, do us all a favor and commit suicide.

  • why do you have to be such an asshole? its obvious that you hate vector. but here is the clincher bro.. and i think i've said this many times already.. NOBODY CARES WHAT YOU THINK! SO GET OFF THE FREAKIN VID AND GO DIE SOMEWHERE YOU OPINIONATED PRICK!

  • c'mon man you're vocabulary is vulgar and very unprofessional

  • well, im sorry if my comments come off as "vulgar or offensive" but that guy pissed me off.

  • yeah me too.i understand. it hust doesn't look very professional. i'm not offended but other people might be

  • you FUCKING FAILURE!! LOLOL! your dumb ass is going to be a fucking intern for six years and work at taco bell for the rest of your sad pathetic life. I hope you fucking expire you worthless waste of human excretion. I take all my business professionaly. BUT fuckholes like you discourage decent, hardworking students trying to make a decent buck. I dont bid into bullshit, all of vector/cutco's actions are coverd by the US federal business buearu. talk shit all you want.. people still love cutco

  • Let's see, you call me a failure, and yet I'm willing to bet that you're some simple average college student in some shitty 2nd or 3rd tier state college. Someone like you probably thinks that a B.S. or a B.A. degree is amazing, and thinks that just because you graduated with a 3.2 from high school, you are a genius.

And yet you call me a failure.

    Tsk tsk... braindead indeed.

  • wrong again dumbass. I call you a failure because you keep attempting to be a smartass but every time, you make yourself look even MORE foolish. I'm still in college FYI, I hate pissy little pussys like you. you are no credit to human society with your constant educational supremacy bullshit. I bet YOU got yo ass beat up for lunch money in H.S LOL I really do pity you. seriously, I hope you get ass cancer and die suffering

  • Still in college. Let me guess: in HS, you were one of those idiots in the back of the class, who thought you were cool cracking jokes all the time while getting Cs and Ds on your work, right, nd now you think you're the shit because you have a "job", and money seems to be the only thing that matters to you.

Keep your petty cash; God knows your kind needs it. I'd rather do something worthwhile like intern.

And they say inbreeding is fine... You sir, are proof that that statement is false.

  • lol, omfg dude, I called you an "inbreed cock slave" You are SO lame to the point where you can't even come up with your own insults. you have to try & turn insults I made at you, at me. LOL THAT is why you fail.

"And they say inbreeding is fine... You sir, are proof that that statement is false"

that the best you got?? yeah, after having this pointless internet squabble with an utter FAILURE (i.e - YOU) I bet yo ass got kicked in H.S. btw, u cant question my morality. I work & get payed

  • Vector isn't a scam. It doesn't directly try to pry money from students' hands in any way.

That being said, it is far from being the most honest company ever.

First off, their recruitment letter touts points like a high salary or opportunities to advance, but has no actual job description. Shady point one.

Second, legally you are not entitled to minimum wage, because they treat you like an independent contractor instead of an employee. Your usual rights don't apply. Shady point number two.

  • ya, i just interviewed there today. The office was shady and took me forever to find. Also, the interview was more like a sales pitch. It sounded shady to begin with, but i had nothing better to do today. I immediately got hired and i'm pretty sure they hired the about 15 other people in the room with me. There is no way in hell i'm going to training. Does anyone know if there is a student group that warns college students against this scam?

  • if there is one i would be the first one to join. I had the exact experience except it was last week and i was suppose to do training thurs, fri and sat......didn't go. Best choice i made in terms for jobs.

  • I had to sit through all this bullshit at that vector place, zomg i feel your pain, ty for enlightening me. ^^

  • Oh no it can cut a rope. Sell me the $1,000 set

And then you wonder where all the money is at and why the economy sucks right now!

  • a high school friend of mine gave vector my phone number and they called me and said that they would like for me to come in and do an interview. it took me two hours for the interview and i got hired. i thought it was so shady that they would even hire me because i was the least dressed in the entire room of college students and i have to work experience. thats when i thought they would hire anyone. a couple of hours later i met up with my friend and he said that he was quitting after one week.

  • it is really iritating seeing people say that vector is good company. please stop...truth is out its a scam, and a very bad experience for me. It is so wrong when they lie that they only will hire some and everyone thinks they are special when they truth is they all got scammed.

  • Vector destroys relations between friends and family. Just like Amway. A friend of mine sold 1300.00 worth of knives to his poor, unemployed ex-g/f. She couldn't afford them, OR NEED THEM, but she bought 'cause he pressured her with his "practice" pitch. He tried to pressure me as well and then tried to hard sell my mom and my brother. He's been dumped as a friend. Thats what Vector does....wrecks friendships. Be aware of that when you start selling expensive knives to your friends.

  • If u notice like 9 out of 10 people who talk good about vector if u go on their page they have nothing it looks kinda shady and u can leave comments since none of em have any comments

  • It's not a scam. I made 1,000 dollars in my first 4 days of work. I'm satisfied.

  • continued ^^^^^^: need a job and yess you do have to buy yours own knifes but you get your money back and then some if you seel them when your done for the summer. i paid $147.10 but when im done i can seel them for 500 so i do get my money back, like i said i dont think your wrong, but if you have any reasons why i should not continue let me know

  • hey bud i have nothing negitive to say. i just got a job with vector and what you were told by the girl is true. but for somone like me who couldnt find a job this really gave me a great oppertunity to try somthing new this is america you have freedom of speech, and im not telling you your wrong i can see from your point of veiw how you are right for college students who need money,

  • it seems that vector is good for some, but is not for everyone. i mean ya cutco is a great product, however selling luxury knives in this economy is going to be hell for most reps. lets face it, not very many people will be able to make any money considering the mandatory demo kit, unpaid training, etc.

  • Crazy enough, ever since the recession Vector has actually been making more money. No lie, in 2008 we had our best year ever in the South Region, and already in the middle of 2009 we're 50% overv what we did last year. Seems people find investing their money on something worth it a good way to go in today's economy. You have to spend money to save money!

  • whoever supports this company deserves to get gutted, hung, shot at engulfed in flames

  • at least it's a way to pay bills. and in this economy right now, how many ppl out there are really hiring and then accepting. what are you doin?? sittin on your ass wishin you had a job??

  • Actually no I have a real Job!

And good point with this hard economy who the hell is going to spend $400 set of knifes that can cut a piece of rope.... OOOOOO!

  • Yeah, sure you had to buy your own set of knives for the demonstrations. They cost around 160 bux. Yet, they're actually worth around $500!!! And you get to keep them!!! It's hard work, but in this country (and current economy) one better work his or her ass off and make sacrifices in order to survive.

  • well the ladie that said you have to pay for the knifes well hate to say this BUT Welcome To the real world ex: severs in restrants pay for there uniform, doctors pay for there scubs. No matter were you want a job your going to pay it just usely comes out of your first pay check and it not a scam in my first 3 day i sold 7,000.00 worth hit my promo and made about 500 dollars for a little under 12 hours for those 3 days not only that but i do get base pay on the appt to

  • Yeah man, fuck Vector Marketing. They always come to my college, too, except there's a dude handing out the fliers to kids going to class. If I see him again I'mma whoop his ass.

  • They DONT PAY for TRAINING. And thats like four 3-5 hour days
