Thank you so much for this video!!! My chihuahua got into some dark chocolate and I was able to use the hydrogen peroxide to get her to throw it up within 15 minutes of it happening.
I agree, this is NOT the video to have a 30 second ad before you can view it. My toddler, who was supposed to be in bed taking a nap while I was in the other room nursing my baby, decided to get into the bag of Xylitol. It was all over her, the chair, and the floor, and my little yorkie/maltese was standing there licking her lips. We cannot afford an emergency trip to the vet, so I induced vomiting via this video. The peroxide does take a couple min. to work, but it really does the trick!
Thank you for this informative video! The hydrogen peroxide worked within minutes! My 6 mo old pup ate grapes. We called the 24 hour emergency clinic and they said it would be $98 for the visit + more. They mentioned inducing vomit and possibly giving activated charcoal. I found this vid and followed the directions. Next morning i took him to our regular vet; they did blood work on him and gave him the activated charcoal gel. Our vet said inducing vomit was the best thing we did! Life saved!
thank u this really worked and saved my dogs life, he ingested a whole bunch on dehydrated onions at 2:00am I was told by poison control this was toxic and induce vomiting.... Animal Poison Control wanted 75.00 to tell me how to do it! Thank God for the Internet! What a wonderful source for information
My vet was closed and closest emergency wanted 150.00 and it was a long way to drive... Thank you Thank you Thank you
You saved my Dog's life. Thank you Doctor, my dog ate rat poison, luckily i noticed immediately, searched for remedy in Internet and found this video. I didn't had hydrogen peroxide, so gave 3 doses of salt back to back, she threw everything out within 15 min of swallowing it. Once again thanks a ton.
my puppy ate socks one time 2 socks and we used this and it worked and now today i used 2 doses of the hydrogen peroxide and it didn't work for about 30 minutes and finally when i was about to call the vet i used the salt thing and finally it worked. THNX!!
@furriesLOVEY Your puppy ate socks too? Mine did too :P I don't know what they like about socks :L But my dog at 2 and I didn't even know, she threw it up 4 days later and there was a huge yellow stain on our carpet.. good thing were putting in hardwood floors now
found my mini terrier ingesting quite a bit of some sort of harsh rodent poison, it was late, no vet open, didn't have hydrogen peroxide but the salt trick worked like a charm. Saved my dogs life.
my rascal pup vomits a foamy white liquid for about 3 days and he didn't even eat his meal so i already presumed that after few hours or days i am going to bury him in my backyard...
until i saw this video but unfortunately i do not have hydro peroxide at home so i tried the salt one..
it's 5th days by now and he stops vomiting,. now he eats his meal a bit.. 5 star on this video..
dont doubt this it works it will not hurt the dog do it quick and make sure its new peroxide not old stuff that sat.... saved my rottweiler ate a sock
Thanks for you video! It saved my pyppy's life! My puppy accidentally swallowed the inner portion of the bone for the dogs to bite. I used the salt to make it vomit but it was hard to force it eat that salt. I vomitted a lot of slimy liquids and some tiny bits of the things he swallowed. He's better now and will take him to the vet tomorrow. Thanks a lot!

Why would you not want them to throw-up gasoline/petroleum/ house-cleaning liquids???
What would you do instead?

@PowerfulFellow It burns the tissue on the inside of the throat. Drinking it is bad enough, having it come back up will do further damage.

This is, of course, the exact video that needs to start with a 30 second commercial.

@RedThree123 YouTube should implement a feature to vote a video as "medical priority" that is free of ads.
