If triggered it can send a message back to the psn admin and they can ban as they please. Its very easy to find due to software is required to be ran before the game. Sony can add firm ware update just to watch for this. So yes you risk getting banned using this. Its not fool proof.

because if you plug in a external Hard Drive the Hard Drive must have the fat32 format and so you can not copy "big" games from your ps3 on the Hard Drive

every one has at least a flash drive in there homes just give us a download so we can see for our self before sony sends out a firmware update and fucks up every thing before we get to have some fun with it.
@skr101274 Oh boy, this is the 20th time I've said this, This Jailbreak has a specialized MCU chip onboard, it is NOT a flash drive rather a specialized dongle.
You cannot put a PS3 into debug mode with a flash drive.
It's not a flash drive! He refers to it as a dongle and the dongle has a green and a red light on it. Doesn't that tell you it's not just a flash drive? You were given a brain, use it!
We are not selling the software nor do we provide it, the backup manager is free and is on the PS Jailbreak website, you can download it now but it wont be any good without your PS3 being jailbroken to be able to boot un-signed software which is what the dongle does.
We agree the price of the dongle is a lot, but we didn't have anything to do with that, if you think it's over priced maybe email the Jailbreak team and express that to them.

Is it just me or is it not a tad suspicious near the end of the video when hes loading the game up and he unfocuses and focuses the camera and it looks as though he pauses, considering hes been using the camera fine the whole way through and you can see that he changes the TV MODE to HDMI 2 look for this i've had a look at the website and its sketchy to say the least im sorry im not being fooled by this $150 ha fucking ha, sony will provide a firmware which blocks it (if it works that is)

@TheHollywoodCinema I may be wrong but I remember the USB data and power channels were separated and you could disable one as both operate on different modes. (I may be wrong cause I never really payed to much attention on hardware classes I took)

@skr101274 Oh boy, this is the 20th time I've said this, This Jailbreak has a specialized MCU chip onboard, it is NOT a flash drive rather a specialized dongle.
You cannot put a PS3 into debug mode with a flash drive.

We are not selling the software nor do we provide it, the backup manager is free and is on the PS Jailbreak website, you can download it now but it wont be any good without your PS3 being jailbroken to be able to boot un-signed software which is what the dongle does.
We agree the price of the dongle is a lot, but we didn't have anything to do with that, if you think it's over priced maybe email the Jailbreak team and express that to them.
