Good to see another puzzle freak such as myself! :) Sorry to see you got one of the old boxes - though the new ones should be on the market by now (we simply had to clear out the storage room) On the light matter, you twisting and turning it should charge the diode (Though yes, it should be blinking as you open the box)

You can tell by the indented circle at the top that was intended as a stand for the original Isis.

BTW the pegs come out for a reasone. notice that the holes have diffrent textures. it is not just manufacturing but they help solve the puzzle:). the only problem with this product is the box and occasionally the electronics inside.

yeah, this thing is similer to a cryptex, basicly, all ur doing is lining up the circuit untill the light comes on, not a ver gd puzzle, i wouldn't even call it a puzzle!

It is a puzzle and no (to the best of my knowledge) you shouldnt be lining up circuits because the manual states that the light should start blinking as soon as you started working on the puzzle.

I've played with the Ramisis and love it. Horrible manufacturing? Are you kidding? The tolerances and mechanics are ridiculous!

And yes, please learn to pronounce it correctly, sounds like "Ramseez." Trust me.
