  • @2002siham Hey it's your sandwich, go crazy! ;)

  • Canadian accent! Nice recipe, I really want to try it out! :)

  • @ThomasAnthonyBowman eheh thanks, and let me know what you think

  • Great concept, it was delicious! I didn't have the exact ingredients, but I made do with what I had: Pecorino cheese, sardines in olive oil, sea salt, and homemade mayo. Will definitely try in the future with your ingredients!

  • @RaGiNCaRnAgE Oh yeah I bet it was good too.

  • i JUST made this; it was hella good! the tomato sauce was a good touch

  • @SocaTrain Right eh!? Glad you liked it!

  • My version is million times better. pls try it.

julian an onion, debone and remove the stomach content

    Sautee your onion till caramelized,

mooch it up a little, at some chilie flakes and (sugar or not) and lime/lemon juice and capers.

    serve it on toast.

don't forget your vegetable and tomato slices.

  • @tantrick Man tthat mut be awsome..but a little more trouble than my version ;)

  • @Funkyman391 Great! let me know how you like it!

  • this is making me hungry

  • @artsygreens ;)

  • that looks wierd

  • @JAMMDUpFilms I agree....and loving sardines is a must to like this recipe too!

  • @JAMMDUpFilms looks weird but taste pretty damn good

  • or 1 Can of Sardines in Olive Oil 8 Pieces of Sour Dough Bread Salt and pepper and Thyme or oregano First drain the olive oil from the sardines into a bowl and brush the oil onto the pieces of bread and bake until toasted. While its baking mix together the sardines, Salt, Pepper, and Thyme(or oregano) in a bowl When the bread is done put the mix on 4 pieces of bread and put on other piece of bread on top This is really really good, healthy, cheap, and fast. Lots of Omega-3's Yields: 4 Servings
  • @GNH33 This sounds pretty great too!

  • @jihadacadien it is try sometime but i found a new bread that taste better. Try using Potato Bread instead just as good.

  • @GNH33 Cool!

  • Yummm!! =]

  • @Crazyqosol It really is, but I ate too much of them and I'm kinda tired of them now ;)

  • Mmm... I love sardines, pretty much any fish. That looks fantastic! Better than on crackers.

  • @VivianRinSC Yeah...now I had some sprouts too!

  • very good :)

  • @JellowPhish thanks....you really need to love sardines to like this sandwich!

  • I make burritos, those are fast and easy to make. you can make buffalo chicken ones were you buy breaded frozen chicken and use buffalo sauce and cheese, or you can make a bunch of beef mix up front and microwave some each time.

  • I make a similar sandwich (also to be eaten open-faced), except that I use mozzarella and I broil it for a couple of minutes before eating. If I have fresh basil on hand I put that on there too, but not required. So tasty.

  • @bjoaogarcia With sardines??? man that must be tasty too!!! I'm glad I'm not alone with such weird taste ;)

  • Okay, so I just now figured out why I like you, you have bold taste. This is something i would eat.

    Peace my friend,

    Kamo

  • @Kamoyaker eheheh yeah and to think that I rarely post crazy recipes.....but I have much more! Every meal is an experience with me LOL

  • Looked good to me must try it. Italians all over the world are dropping dead though. They have a fit if you even suggest cheese with fish. Not even with spaghetti with a tuna sauce, no Cheese. I don't understand why I lived with two Italian family in Italy and shared a meal with Italians on the Camion and every-time I would get heck for wanting cheese on my fish sauce. By the way make a tuna sauce ahead and you can heat it in the microwave for a quick spaghetti lunch.

  • @dalecalder2003 Glad I'm not Italian ;), even tho I don't eat that much cheeze. Thanks for the recipe, I'll give it a try!

  • I tried making a sardine sandwich but I ate most of the sardine right outa the can and didn't have enough for the sandwich. I am a huge fan of sardines in mustard or tomato sauce. Very cool recipe!! :)

  • @Praxxus55712 Just open two cans ;) And if you love them you really have to try this! I was amazed when I came up with this one dinner time ;)

  • Damn! and sorry 'bout the Bf but like they always say.....there's more fish in the sea and I've learned to live free of al that so anyone can ;)

  • damn , you have a nice picture in this video, I like the quality.

  • @Acadianiste thanks I have a HD cam and I put as much light as I can. I guess it's the cheapest way to get a better quality picture (same goes for photo) I might get another spot light soon. They're cheap at AcadianTire ;)

  • lLol, that's one thing we should have, Acadian Tires. a star instead of the maple leaf.

  • @Acadianiste yeah We Acadians sure love tires and roads! lol

  • I'll give it a try. Thanks!

  • @TheVittleVlog Cool, hope you love it!

  • I've done sammiches like that before, minus the cheese. Though, maybe a thin slice of mozarella ontop, pop it in the oven for it to melt a bit, sounds really good too. I also like making them with canned octopus. It's soooo good. You should come up with different recipes for sammiches. I love sammiches. Maybe that's why I'm so pudgy.

  • @ShadowVampira LOL I've never even seen canned octopus!. Most of the sandwiches I make are simple and boring.....but if I get original ideas I'll be sure to post it! ;)

  • How about casseroles? If your sammiches are so boring, why not try and challenge yourself to make more interesting sammiches? :D

  • @ShadowVampira well time and I love the taste of my ordianry sandwiches lol

  • Hmm, do you bake then? How about making more dessert type videos? Have you ever successfully made a normal cake, not carrot cake? I can't seem to make one and every recipe I try turns out not quite how I want it. :(

  • @ShadowVampira I don't bake at all! There's always too much sugar in cakes and such, plus I like to fill up before the desert lol. but once a year I might try something crazy like chocolat covered stuff, or even sponge sugar lol

  • Sponge sugar? It's odd, I like baking but I don't like eating cakes and such cause I find them to be too sweet. I don't even eat candy.

  • @ShadowVampira spounge candy mabe? Ya know it looks like a sponge but made of sugar lol. I don't even eat fruits. Oh and I have ideas for recipes....just variations of existing recipes.....nothing original like my sandwich....I think.

  • Oh, wow, I don't eat fruits much, either. Which a lot of my friends find unusual. I guess because of how people assume all girls love sweets. The only sweet thing I love is dark chocolate but even that, I do not eat often. If I do eat fruits, it would be watermelon, and sour fruits like some cherries, strawberries, and plums. But it's rare if I do. Though, botanically, cucumbers and tomatoes are fruits and I eat those a lot.

  • @ShadowVampira LOl yeah about cuccumnbers.....most fruit taste sour to me and I hate sour! oh tomatoes, peppers and such are fruits too lol

  • Really? I love sour things. Most fruits taste overly sweet to me. And I don't like peppers, though, I do love their colors.

  • @ShadowVampira I love hot pepper personally. Hey is it true that New York has great tasting tap water!? I've heard about it coming from lakes else where and that no one around the lakes uses pesticides and such so it doesn't go in the water. just wondering

  • Do you drink your tap water? We do....but I'm the worst person to ask. I have a taste sensitivity sometimes. All water, even bottled water, tastes funny to me. Tortillas as well as all lettuce taste bitter. But then again, I guess you could say the NY water taste ok. We drink it from the tap and never died or anything. *shrugs*

  • @ShadowVampira live in a very small town and our water comes from underground springs. But the more it rains the more chemicals they add.....and I think they over do it.

  • I suppose every place's water taste funny. Though, NY's water comes from springs upstate.

  • @ShadowVampira I guess even if you have a well behind the house lol

  • Then again, I've only ever tasted the water in New York and no where else as far as I can remember. So maybe our water DOES taste good.

  • @ShadowVampira Lol...but it might be containing less chems that other large cities

  • Maybe, which seems odd considering this city's oxygen is highly polluted.

  • @ShadowVampira Well if it comes from faraway in underground pipes....where the underground people live. ;)

  • Underground people? Mole people!!

  • @ShadowVampira yeah isn't there's supposed to be some in the old underground tunnels left in NYC ?

  • I'll perfectly honest, I have no idea. All I know is that there's alligators/crocodiles in our sewer systems, and that's not even a joke.

  • @ShadowVampira Lol I've heard that....man there must be so much urban myths in New York ! since it,s such a big urban place.

  • Though, that myth isn't a myth anymore considering the alligator ate a dog and decided to take a stroll down central park. Though, recently there was a coyote in central park. Wild animals just love central park just as much as humans do. Very relaxing.

  • @ShadowVampira Dang! and where do the wild animals come from? i can't see something like a coyote walk in the city until it comes to central park...?

  • To be honest, I have no idea where it came from. I was in my doctors appointment and heard it in the news. Though, we also have hawks since we have too many pigeons and the hawks will kill the pigeons.

  • @ShadowVampira Well birds can fly so they can go over the city.

  • @ShadowVampira Oh and a lot of ravenous birds do pretty well in urban setting, mostly because of pigons. I think it's winipeg in Canada that is overrun with smart crows or ravens lol

  • I swear I can hear crows and owls yet I can never see them. I know it's not seagulls or pigeons, though, I do hear them a lot in the mornings. I have never seen a crow or owl in person yet I can hear them. It irks me.

  • @ShadowVampira LOL yeah those birds are smarter and do well in cities. some birds even use cars to break like nuts and such by throwing them in the streets lol

  • Really? I never knew that. I've never been much of a bird lover. I had a canary and it brought in a lot of mice in my apartment. Yet, I've had 2 rabbits (now, only 1) and yet it doesn't bring in mice. But I always thought crows were cool. And swans, which is rare to see in NY.

  • @ShadowVampira they bring mice in the house!? How come? This is actually weird that I live like 500 feet from the sea and as much from an actual forest and I've never seen a rat or a mouse LOL and you live in NY and probably see a few of them ;)

  • Well, places like the Bronx (where I live) and Brooklyn tend to be somewhat forgotten by the mayor of NY because there's a lot of minorities here. He doesn't feel the need to improve these areas. So buildings have mice and cockroaches. Thankfully, our building is one of the least contaminated places. But the canary attracted so many mice that I couldn't sleep on my own bed because the mice would climb up on my bed at night while I was laying in it.

  • @ShadowVampira That is weird....are they attracted because they think there might be eggs to eat or something like that? Oh or maybe they know there's seeds as food. Man we underestimate rodents too. They are pretty smart! ;) And I guess it made free pets for you ;) lol

  • I have no idea. It might be the seeds. They did get in the cage a lot. I even took pictures of the little thieves a few times. But after I gave my canary back to the person who had given it to me (it was a gift), the mice slowly began to disappear. Though, 1 mice lingers. But this mouse, when it comes to my room and wants to leave, it stands infront of the door, and no kidding, it only leaves if I open the door for it.

  • @ShadowVampira That's CRAZY! people must not have problem feeding their pet snakes ;)

  • I guess not. Though, there may be alot of mice, but they're sneaky. We put out sticky mouse traps and they know it's there, so they walk around it. That's why a lot of new yorkers own cats. Even in the deli corner stores, they have cats to eat the mice. And in the subway, there's big rats.

  • @ShadowVampira You should put seeds or penuts in the middle of the traps. Give them a reason to step on them ;)

  • I've tried the seeds. They don't fall for it. We don't eat peanuts anymore. Not sure how, but my two older siblings are now allergic to nuts and they're 26 and 27. So we don't buy any kind of nuts anymore. Makes me sad, seeing as I like munching on nuts....or seeds, Like sunflower seeds.

  • @ShadowVampira Man they are smart! I don't have any tips, NYC mice are smarter that rural ones ;)

  • Yeah, I guess that's what happens when you live in an area for so long. Kinda like how they tell you not to walk outside with your cell phone or mp3 player exposed, unless you want to get robbed.

  • @ShadowVampira hahaahah! really!? I get my new york info from CSI New Yrok so.....but I've always been facinated by your city since I was a teen. I can't even imagine how big it is. like in a block, there's probably way more people than in my town!

  • Well, if you ever want to know anything about New York, just send me a private message on youtube, and I'll be glad to tell you. And yeah, about the robbing thing, my bf (I broke up with him, guess he's now my ex) ended up getting ganged up by 4 guys and got his Sidekick cell phone taken from him.

  • You know i've heard that earth worms in central park in new york are now a sub-species, since New York is such a big urban area, they have been isolated as a population for quite some time now.... I wonder if it is true!

  • You know, now that you mention that. I remember when I was a kid, there were earth worms everywhere. Now, you'd have to really look for them in order to find one.

  • @Acadianiste wow it could very well be. mabe even for other fast reproducing bugs. since they are stuck in this big park. wonder is there's some university studying this? If they can get grants to study that exotic dancers get more tips during their period, surely they could find money for some usefull research!

  • sardine sandwich and a grape nehi...yumyum...

  • @ironhead41 really!? I'd say wine but....

  • but....what?.....say it....

  • @ironhead41 Red or white wine..whole bottle!

  • I give sardines (in water) to my dogs a few times a week, but would never dream of eating them myself. It's hard to not gag when serving it to the dogs. Don't know how you eat that. LOL!

  • @CearaQC HHAHAHAHAHAH Well don't try this recipe then! Since I'm over working, sardine have creapt into my food habits. They are pretty good for you and so quick! Filled with Omega 6....or 3, I forget ;)

  • @jihadacadien I LOVE big fat scallops, or cod, halibut, sole though. :D

  • Yeh, sometimes I order pizza with anchovies, and she's like "no way am I eating that"

  • @TheUrbanOutdoors LOL well if she doesn't like fish.....I guess you can try it when you're on you're one for supper ;)

  • I love sardines - and since it's one of the fish that is not near being endangered, so much the better! I've never had sardines in tomato sauce (always buy the water-packed kind), but I could add my own tomato sauce.

    Thanks for the great idea!

  • @cookingupastory oh the whole fishing industy is a mess over here and worldwide.....but another plus to my sardines is that they are made right here in New Brunswick, a few hours away. no matter the price I buy the same brand !

  • I do like sardines, and the other ingridients. I may just have to try it. My wife would be like "are you serious?"

  • @TheUrbanOutdoors AHAHAAHAH well to that you could answer..''yes I am dear, and I love you " LOL!

  • That, my friend, is a hard core sandwich.

  • @TheUrbanOutdoors but I swear, if you like parmesan and fish and tomatoes.....you'll love it!

  • Y faut j'essaye sa!! NOT!!!!! ahahha

  • @theriade J'te dis man essaye ca, avec une bière ou une bouteille de vin rouge! LOL
