Sorry, the argument ended two months ago, but yes, amandalittleamanda didn't realize that Goth music today isn't what it used to be in the 70's and 80's. Today, Goth is such a varied genre, and although amanda refused to accknowledge it, it is becoming more and more close to Industrial and Metal music.
What amanda didn't realize was that Goth no longer exists the way she was describing it. Her version of Goth, though it was and still is amazing music, died out decades ago. I know because I grew up listening to nothing but Goth and I can tell you that there are many different sides, faces, and sounds to this genre of music. There are many kinds of Goth music in this time and age, and while it is true that the 69 Eyes' last album "Angels" was more close to rock than it was to Goth, if you can deny that the Goth sound IS in their older albums, then YOU NEED TO "WAKE UP YOUR BRAIN" and get a new set of ears.
I grew up listening to the Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Lords of the New Church, and other classic Goth bands. The new Goth that I listen to today sounds nothing like the old Goth bands, but it does not mean it is not Goth. the song is by kwan...so I think he is the one who sings.... you can hear jyrki say:"Lyrics of poison" and also in the end of the song Jyrki sings for a while!
