  • i agree with what you said about Dark Knight and about Cate Blanchett and i really realy liked this movie. yes it was kinda long ( 2 hours and 45 mins, not 3 hours!), but i loved it just the way it is. i really don't get what you don't like! You should try watching a movie without such a critic's eye. Try to go with the movie. maybe you'd actually enjoy it. this is my opinion.

  • At 4:05 is Cate Blanchet grabbing Brad Pitt's ass?

  • you dont need to tlk about the importance of opinions we all know very good review though

  • XD You would be surprised. I really just say it to cover my ass when it's not a 'popular opinion'. Alot of people on YouTube get their panties in a wad whenever you dislike something their adore. So I try to... you know.. ease them in a bit. :) Thanks for the comment!

  • Now I disagree with your opinion dude, it was a great film, marvelous. I ain't gonna call you dumb nuts or anything, but it's just me, I'm opinionated and I'm strong on my opinions especially on this movie.

  • what's funny, it that this review is very repetitive and way way too long

  • :) This is true. I tend to ramble on and on in many of my reviews.

  • Best movie Iv'e seen in a while. The Dark Knight was really good also, but I really can't compare the two. I thought about Titanic and movies like Forest Gump a lot while watching this movie. When I watched Dark Knight I was like "This movie kicks the Iron Man and Spider-Man movies in the ass".

  • I liked the movie but I do agree with your points on the length and it could've been a lot better. There were a lot of hit and misses in the movie. The Dark Knight should win best picture.

  • I haven't seen this movie, heard of it but not actually viewed it. Frankly though I haven't liked a lot of movies that've came out during 2008. I felt like it was kind of a bad year for cinema IMHO. Hmmm *sigh*

    Not very impressed at all!

The Dark Knight was just the best though! :)

Lol! "born under normal circumstances" XDDD

  • THIS MOVIE WAS

    ...

    ...

    ...

    Meh

  • I Love the Spill and always check out what they say before I see a movie because normally I agree with them, but I have yet to see this Film..... but I will agree that the idea of a 3 hour drama does scare me simply because I'll most likely be seeing it with my friends who have serious ADD in movies which is upsetting or else with my boyfriend who falls asleep..... so after hearing your opinion I might just see bolt again tomorrow because that movie is amazing :)

  • Before I even say something I always wanted to tell you this... when you put GLB it makes me thing Gay Lesbian Bi.. just putting that out there.

Aww it's okay Kaleb, get overly excited over Brad Pitt.

I loved the movie. I was glad that it was 3 hours long;I thought it gave an adequate amount of time for the plot to develop. I do have to say there were quite a few flaws in it that really irritated me,because it made part of the story make no sense.Overall though, I thought it was a great film.

  • I've not seen the movie yet. You know how terrible I am at movies, but I kind of avoided this one just because I knew I'd giggle every time I heard his name. It looked interesting, but the thought of 3 hours of that plot idea kinda makes me shiver.

One more thing, noooooooooo! You said your real youtube name! Edit it out, you're forever GottaLoveBreath, mister!

  • Uguu. I am both GottaLoveBreath and KagamiismyLover! We're one of the same person. Like "Yin and Yang" basically. KagamiismyLover is the fanboy, and GottaLoveBreath is the guy who ponders the philosophy behind MGS4.

  • Hm. Interesting concept.

And mister. What're you doing replying to youtube messages while you've got company over that you had to ignore Domo and I for, hmmmm?

  • I have had company over for almost a week (he stays over often), and I can check up on YouTube every once in a while and it's no big deal. Having an all night convo on the Internet is completely different from responding to people's comments.

  • Well, tell him I said hi, just for funsies. And that I'm a tad bit jealous of him for the fact that he has you for company.

  • XD Alright, I'll tell him... jeez, I'm turning my own video into a chat room, lol.

  • I just saw this and what a dull ass film. I'm with you in that it was an interesting concept and that it could have been better but, well, it wasn't. I enjoyed Valkyrie much more which seems to have been getting a lot of hate due to Tom Cruise's existence.

  • I'm probably going to end up checking out Valkyrie when it comes out on DVD. I've loved all of Bryan Singer's films, so I have a feeling I'll end up liking Valkyrie as well. *sigh* I'm still hoping that Watchmen comes out on time... which it won't, but I can always hope.

  • I have a weak crapdar, thus why I liked bolt as a meh 3/5 and said twilight wasn't crap, because in truth I still like Batman and Robin. and hell date movie was about as funny as a Fred video-somethings I can see as funny but I didn't laugh. so I might like this, especally since forest gump was one of my favorate childhood films.

  • Weak crapdar? XD What is a crapdar?

  • I can't find a movie as faulty unless like with seven pounds I fall asleep during.

  • I never heard of this movie. But I like the review.

  • You never heard of it? 0_0 I must watch more TV then you, lol. The ads were everywhere.

  • I don't watch TV that much anymore. I spend most of the time in YouTube.

  • I was thinking about seeing this but 3 hours is too long for me. But I have to disagree with you on that statement that the Dark Knight was the only great movie this year, Frost/Nixon is amazing. Also, how can you say TDK was so good if you hated it?

  • *shakes head* I didn't say straight out that The Dark Knight was the only great picture this year... though it does sound like that, now that I rewatch it. Never saw Frost/Nixon. *sigh* Bret, if you make that lame joke about me hating The Dark Knight again, I'll point out how you need to stop saying that joke again. So it's a never-ending cycle.

  • Spoiler Alert

To me it was David Fincher's Forrest Gump. I was not sad that I saw it but what pissed me off is there is really no output of a fish out of water situation. When he is old he is basically an senile old man and when he is young he has dementia. Then the time between 70 and 20 he is basically the same as any adult. All the characters at the beginning were very interesting but when it focused on the love interest boring, boring ,boring. They really didn't address the idea well

  • Both my dad and I walked out saying "It's like Forrest Gump, except it isn't funny and it's faaarr too long for its own good." It could have been great, it just needed some direction (in my opinion).

  • they should of cut some time off of this movie and given it to twilight lol man there eather to long or to short
