I bet Syd Barrett would have loved this.Does any1 no any info on this. Was this Johns house. This was his living conditions?? Or was this after the fire.Wat the fuk.Ive been in some pretty bad dope houses in Detroit.I dont no this is pretty bad. Is that blood from syringe shots at 03:46 or a diarrhea shot on the side of tub lol. Dam wat went on in this house. Is Venice in Hollywood.(I live in Detroit I dont fuking no these things?)
I think that writing that "I like this film" is not appropriate.
No matter how good he is artistically, It's show a human tragedy, human loss, human demons and the dark side of genius which John is for sure. I can see it only because that I know that everything ends fine.
I feel like I'm paralyzed. When I was watching this scary walls and all this stuff on the ground I was simply thinking: it should be burned. All this things and all that house should never exist. Cause nobody deserves for demons in head like that and nobody deserves for that unimaginable agony.
@MonkeyAtTheTypewrite if your talking about niandra lades, most of that stuff was made before this, during bssm apparently, but i think smile from the streets you hold was written around this time, his voice sounds sorta similar
@SebbyHo88 Although I really like they way this was shot, coupled with a very fitting soundtrack, I can't see how you can call this 'awesome'. This man had a potentially fatal disease which very nearly killed him. This is a good advert for how drugs in the wrong hands can destroy even an artistic genius like the great John Frusciante.
@44rylo Well i just meant "awesome" as i have only heard about his colab with J.D and never thought i would get to see it myself, idk man, i wasn't celebrating his addiction or happy about his near death experience any anything like that. I can see what you mean about the way my comment came off. No disrespect to J.F (or yourself for that matter) Peace out dude.
@SebbyHo88 Thanks for your reply and comments. I must of been in a mood that day because I've just reread your initial comment and realised I got too argumentative too quickly! You did not offend me in any way, I just see too much glorification in drug abuse and moronic goading of people damaging themselves by the general public. To be honest I had to watch this film once I'd heard about it so I guess that puts me in the 'moronic goading' category lol! Peace and love to you too dude
@rhcp484 Trust me bro i already am. Love nothing more than to record water for 10 days, inside of emptiness or niandra lades and usually just a t-shirt.
If i got the same torrent as half the people here i'v got it all. (not to mention buying specific albums)
I just thought that when the Chili's had John the where on another level.
@SebbyHo88 Right on...yeah, I feel ya. Im With you is there worst album in awhile. But I have higher hopes for the next one. And SUPER high hopes for Johns album that he is working on.The Empyrean is amazing ans I cannot wait for this next one.

So what he means is that there were two fires that started in his houses - one in 1993-4 and one in 1997 ?
