@chrisram0s sure, it's easy to use ryu when you ONLY KNOW THE HADOKEN. try to fight with some doutche that the only move he does is "hadoken-kadoken-hadoken-hadok­en..."

@onlyoneLyckon like chrisram0s said..its ryu and he's against gief..you don't rush gief because then he's going to be spamming his grabs and ultras which do ridiculous dmg. Keep your distance with hadokens and punish gief's mistakes. Plenty of things gief can do to get around hadokens

I have never been much of a Ryu fan. Ryu can keep you on the defensive for hours on end it seems. Get to far away and you get screwed and if you close the distance and you are screwed. I am a big Zangief fan I guess so I have a one sided opinion.

far too many jump in attempts, but tbh, what els an he do... it's not like gief can poke through fireballs, and ex banishing fist is very punishable on block, with either a reversal shoryuken, or a throw, thanks to Ryu's godly recovery time on hadokens an shoryukens
