  • Beautiful voice <3

  • All the gay bashing needs to stop, to all you so call christian s ripping gay people. You must remember that only he has the right to judge. Final statement the one without sin has the right to throw the first stone. Religion is about love and understanding, those of you so called Christian that can not understand that will not sit beside the son of God.

  • There aren't many songs out there filled with this much emotion. Knocked my socks off first time I heard it!

  • from the best her album !! Yeah! :D

  • I have been listening to you since the beginning, and will continue to listen to you because you are an amazing, talented artist, and human being and that is all that matters! I love you and the universe should love you, and if they don't then that is their problem. Be happy and live your life!

  • She wrote that song herself you know! Talented, smart, sensitive and beautiful, all in the one package.

  • @insanity745 Um, this is a lesbian love ballad if i ever heard one. Giving love in a forest, walking into a cave at the end... hmm a cave.... ponder that. Rose-wet cave

  • Her eye's are stunning

  • She is gorgeous no matter what. Plus she can sing.

  • BIG FEET

  • @prc85040 means big p!

  • @JordAnn1908 So effing what? She's talented and gorgeous. What damn difference does it make who she sleeps with?

  • Could never love her enough..<3

  • iam waiting for a tree to fall on her

  • she brings real soul to country music!!!

  • Absolutely Beautifull Woman with Incredible Voice

  • I'm a lesbian too and not really into country music but I will buy her cd's and support her because I'm sure she will lose her homophobic fans. They will start listening to homophobic music. It's about time.

  • @Zorayda85 I support you ;))

  • she got married!

  • she is history

  • absolutely perfect...in every way!!!

  • What does her sexual orientation have to do with her music? Nothing. Anyway, this song is ok, it has nothing on her old music unfortunately. Hopefully if she loses or gains fans it's due to her music and nothing else.

  • she's so pretty...*swoon* lol

  • I don't understand why folks get so uptight about artists/singers revealing their orientation. I am a fan of their songs/music/artistry. Who they love is their personal business. I am grateful that any artist with the gift of song and music shares it with the world. So many singers from so many genres have "come out" (Metal, Country, Christian, Pop, etc.). Good for them......I only hope they keep putting out great songs.

  • I've always loved this song. The guitar work in it is just excellent. I especially love the use of a flanger effect. It's just a great song, and Chely Wright is a terrific artist who really does it justice.

  • If someone would suddently stop listening to music that they enjoy after finding out sexual orientation of the singer, they don't deserve to experience the incredible joy that music brings to those of us who could care less about what someone does in their personal life as long as they keep creating the music we love.

  • woo-hoo! sexy video and such a sensual music! makes me want to just hit the beach and be sensual with someone.

  • wow she looks so amazing :) :)

  • She's like 40 and she looks AMAZING! =)

  • Good song..I hope she continues in the music industry and nashville treats her differently than they did kd lang..

  • Shes directly from Eve!

  • ahhmmmm awesome!

  • I LOVE this song!!

  • love you chely, truly an inspiration to ALL, gay, straight, fat thin short tall... you give all of us the one thing most people lack...COURAGE!!!! So proud of you and your strength. Thank you for your wonderful talent and natural beauty, inside and out... lisa b xo

  • I'd go lesbian for her

  • Moments in the video that remind me of stuff they're probably not supposed to:

    2:38 begin the CoverGirl commercial

    2:51 Garnier Fructis shampoo ad

    3:02 anti-depression medication ad

  • This is such a romantic song.

  • I'm so in love with her ha :D

  • I really really really love you!!!

  • I'm a lifelong country fan whose enjoyed Chely's work since the 1990s and frankly I think she is well on her way to becoming a country legend. Any radio station or fan not realizing that now will play catch-up later. Her latest album indicates that her best work is yet to come and her long-time country fans can hardly wait!

  • Thanks for sharing , love this song my love

    cby

  • Greetings from Norway. I just love her music and think it's great that she came out as a lesbian. We need more public figures to follow her example. It helps gay young people to understand that they are not alone...

  • Wow!!!! Speechless.....

  • rarrrrrrr...sexy :)

  • beautiful song. I love this song. To me who a person loves is his or her business. I don't see love as wrong. It's a postive thing. :)

  • she's hot! ;)

that's a really nice song...usually I'm not into country music, but I kinda like this one...

I can't believe that people do still care and talk about someone's sexuality... shouldn't we be able to just accept it straight away? I mean, c'mon! it's 2010... I do love women and I do not talk about it regularly, 'cause it's just the way it is...a straight person does not introduce herself "Hi, I like men"...why should gay people want to discuss that again and again?

  • @Snuki22 agree - she is hot!!!

  • she's rockin this one

  • Awesome music, and one hell of a singer. Love it.

    Greetings from Denmark. ;-)

  • Greatest song and video ever!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you can see her nipple at 2:02 haha:]

  • @xrulettexrockerx not really. only slightly

  • @EffLabels lol xD

  • very sexy!!!

  • This woman is amazing. I could care less about her sexual orientation. I'm so glad that she is still making music.

  • @urbusted1112 Can Elmo sing along? :D

  • Un titre à faire rêver....hmmmmm !!!

  • i know at first it may be hard to accept ur "different" or a minority or whatever but to be truly comfortable and accepted in the world the more people have to come out but when you do and feel confident and comfortable with being gay others will be comfortable with it to. You know what they say about the weak being targeted or preyed upon just realise you have no choice in the matter it is who you are love it accept it and nurture your gayness it is part of you and always will be.

  • This is such a romantic song. I am still a romantic regardless of how difficult it is to find true romantic love.

  • 3:08 is the best part but i don't like the i i i i's

  • Love this song only few people really know this kind of love and I feel it so strong....Thank you Chely

  • does everyone else think she has the ''PERFECT'' body??? She has the best vocals of ANY country singer too!!! Gay or Straight, it doesnt matter when you can sing like that!!!! Love this woman!!!!

  • @chelywrightfan1 Yes, she does indeed have a perfect body. She is just gorgeous! Super talented singer/songwriter. I love her voice and music. Heck I don't even listen to country music, but Chely's music is so awesome. I started buying all her studio albums. I am a new fan of Chely's. Can't wait to see her in concert in the fall.

  • chely you rock ...iam a new fan and your hot, talented , smart and a lesbian ...your perfection!!

  • hey i am happy u came out honestly i dont support it but i am proud ur a great person and a player.

  • Chely is wonderful...

Her being a lesbian has absolutely no significance what so ever regarding her as an artist. Shame on the music industry if it does.

  • @Raider12551 it isnt a shame!!! People need to respect her decision and not make useless comments like its a damn shame or she needs a real man!!! Shes a lesbian!!! Always has been and always will be!!! If you read her book, you would see that when she intimate with a man, she wasnt comfortable!!! it says so in her book!!! dont be so judgemental!!!!

  • @Raider12551 she never switched teams in the beginning!!! I still suggest reading the book since you clearly havent!!!

  • @chelywrightfan1 Okay, I read her book and stand corrected. I wish Chely all the best. She's a very talented woman who has obviously had a personal struggle. I hope she feels at peace with herself now. I believe she does.

  • Oh my goodness, Chely. Can I love you more? So gorgeous! I am liking this song and video more and more. So darn SEXY! I hope to see you in concert here in Southern California. I ordered a couple of your other cds. I can't believed I did not know you until you came out. A lot of your olders songs should have crossed over to pop because I thought they were great songs. Great enough for pop category.

  • @GymGyrl totally agre , i just lover her too, I am just said thait i dont know her before, because i love her music

  • @Rhino196669 I do not usually indulge in such senseless debate over some people's closed mindedness. However that generalization has been used over and over, and there's no use in beating a dead dog. I guess I probably already know the answer to this, but if you have been a fan in the past are you still?? I mean she is the same person she always was, but know we know her sexual orientation which I find that it has no bearing on her talent. As a matter of fact, I think the new album is her best!

  • @girlwguitar, To answer your question, yes, I would still consider myself a Fan of hers. However, I do not agree nor, UNDERSTAND Homosexuality! A square peg, doesn't fit in a round hole, for a reason....It's NOT SUPPOSED TO! Have a nice day.

  • @Rhino196669 Ok well glad to count you amongst Chely's fans... Have a nice day too!

  • @Rhino196669 You sir (madam?) are an IDIOT.

  • @Corvigryph , OH! Crushed AGAIN! LOL!

  • This is such an awesome song!! Chely You are such an awesome singer!! I absolutely love you and your music!! I felt so priviledged to see you yesterday!! Thanks for coming out and showing your support!! You Rock!! Yay for Pride 2010 you made it 100% better with you there!! You are so gorgeous!! Keep doin your thing girl!!

  • brings a new dimension to her song lyrics, don't ya think?

  • Way to go Chely. I was so inspired by you on Oprah and Ellen. You are such a beautiful angel sent to earth. You will soar now that you are free from hiding.

  • Sepheria, I'm not gay and I'm a big country music fan; not everyone who is a country music fan dislikes gays. It's not about who she or who she doesn't sleep with. It's about the music and she is very talented and beautiful soul.

  • OMG! This is my favorite video! She is sexy, sultry and I think I am in love! What a voice....love the wet hair laying in the sand scene. Gosh! And she's a lesbian....bonus!!!

  • oh my god

she has the sexiest armpits i've ever seen...

and i've seen a lot lot.

"They curve inward, not outward" -Anny Yang -- JamOnRye

  • @jamonrye why would you admit that youve seen alot of ARMpits lately? rather gross, dont' you think?you, not the vid.

  • Man, @Sepheria, she'll still make music... There are plenty of us lesbians who love country music... she'll survive in the genre, she'll just have slightly different fanbase. You and a few others that like to spew hate will not destroy her career. Recording companies will still like her, so even if you don't want to believe it her music will still be successful... in the meantime, how bout you get off this page or come out because your homophobia isn't as pretty as Chelys voice.

  • Wow, hopefully she will be able cross over to other genres. I didn't know her music until the last couple of weeks. Suprised she wasn't more successful with Country. She 's talented & gorgeous. For every country fan she loses, she gains another fan that didn't know who she was. Come on over, Chely. There is a bigger audience waiting for you!

  • I think if she loses any of her normal following she'll make up for it by picking up gays like me and allies who don't usually listen to country music. I'm not normally a country music fan, but being so moved by her story I had to check out her music, and well, I'm impressed. :)

  • @kookoocachoo27 I totally agree!

  • @kookoocachoo27

'normal' following - what does that mean?

She is awesome and inspirational and her sexual orientation has no bearing in that. Just more good news for the rest of us lezzers :0)

  • @lisaw66

I'm on your side...by 'normal' following I meant the people who liked her before she came out...and I'm saying that if she lost any of them because of coming out then it's okay because she gained LGBT followers like me.

  • not a routine listener of country music, but what a rich voice...when i think of country music, this is the kind of voice i think of... and thank you for coming out, chely... good on you.. enjoy... and boy howdy, what a lovely woman you are....

  • Chely Chely Girl....You are my hero....I am so proud of you...its a hard road to walk but girl...you are free.....Not only are you are beautiful inside and out.....and you are right where you are supose to me!!!!!! Totally llove you music and I so want to go out and purchase everyone of your CD's. Don't you worry there are many women and men that will support you girl....You DA Woman!!!!!

  • she so inspiring.. more power to you chely:)

  • arg, I used to like this song :/

  • It is about time for a gay country singer

  • @litcece rofl yeah right - her career was already over as a one-hit wonder, now it is REALLY over. Country music fans don't stand for this gay shit. Are you kidding?

  • @Sepheria at least she is being real to her self and not caring what yall red neck ass holes care about

  • @litcece LOL...well said! =D

  • @Sepheria What, country music fans like you? No great loss there then......

  • @Sepheria You are dead ass wrong , and if feel that its over for her, then I feel sorry for you .You need to do alittle soul sreaching

  • @riverdsb soul searching? She was a one hit wonder at best. If anything she did this on purpose to try to spark her career by drawing attention to herself. Country music fans don't tolerate homosexuals, it just doesnt happen, KD Lang, anyone?

  • @Sepheria I think you are not so tolerate, standing in her truth only will make her a better artist and if people like you with small minds like her less , maybe its more about you. As far as KD Lang if you needed her to say it to know she was gay then you had to be blind...Chely not a KD Lang but her career will be just fine...

  • @riverdsb she wont survive in this genre anymore. That's all there is to it.

  • @Sepheria I guess you hate the dixie chicks too...

  • @riverdsb pretty much, but due to the fact their music is terrible. Political views aside.

  • @Sepheria We dont look at Sugarland in the start it was 3 she was openly gay she choose to follow her heart and just write but everyone liked them in the being

  • @Sepheria Well..I'm a country music fan, and if you are saying Chely is a one hit wonder...I have to wonder if YOU are a country music fan, or just too young to know the country music hits of the early to mid 90s. Anyway...it's not like country is the only genre, and I can't believe you're BRAGGING about the close-minded bigotry of the country music industry. That's shameful. One way or the other...Chely has plenty of music in her and plenty of people that want to listen.

  • what a beautiful woman regardless of her sexuality

  • Chely you are so brave and you will mean so much to all those kids you were talking about. I've always loved your voice, now it's just that much more impressive what you do with it :).

  • Lesbian to lesbian: I need some like a laryngectomy patient smoking through their stoma needs a smoke.

  • hahaha. this song is pretty gay. makes a lot of sense. right on, chely.

  • Chely STFU. You weren't the first lesbian country singer who was out. KD Lang was. Now shut up and sing.

  • @kimmo4444

kd lang was not just a country singer and it was "meat," and anti meat that got her banned, so to speak. Please don't tell her to shut up with such profanity! You're what I hate about our community; no unity with some people. Leave Chely alone, she's an Angel sent to heal us. Timing is everything.

  • @kimmo4444 Totally inaccurate. KD Lang was not a "country" singer, perse, That was not her only genre. SECONDLY...she left country music entirely BEFORE she came out. Research.

  • What a Beautiful Voice..I'm so happy you're back on the scene! My Husband and I are Huge Fans! You're gonna be just fine! Look at all the support!

  • Just for you Blue Eyes ,and thank for the great time we had last week together. XOXO Your Lady Bug

  • I jUST READ YOUR BOOK AND I LOVED IT I AM PROUD OF YOU FOR COMING OUT AND YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE A FAN IN ME, LOVED THE BOOK, THE ONLY THING IS YOU NEVER MENTION WHAT HAPPEN WHEN YOU CAME OU TO YOUR MOTHER. P.S. Love the Book

  • My crush on her makes so much sense now...:)

  • I am very proud of you as well Chely. Congrats on standing up, it takes a lot of courage sometimes to be yourself.

  • I'm surprised so many people have not heard of her until now. I have been a huge fan since her album "Woman in the Moon." Love you Chely! Thank you so much for coming out. You have always been one of my favorite country music artists. I hope more closeted country artists follow your example and come out too. I'm a gay Christian country music fan and I wish social conservatives in the country music industry would be more accepting of people who are just being honest about who they are.

  • I admit I only remember one of her songs, but now that I know she's on our team I'll go out and buy all her cd's!! It doesn't hurt that she happens to be talented and beautiful too! Come out now Randy, Kenny Chesney, and Terri Clark!

  • To be honest,I never heard of Chely until her book and announcement. But now I am a fan. smile Even if country music fans don't accept her right to be herself,I still think this will expand her listening audience. So very talented and lovely!

  • Thank you for coming out Chely!

  • chley, u make people like myself be proud of who we are. I loved you then (from Woman in the Moon), love you now..and will always love you..

  • WAY TO GO CHELY!!!!!

  • To be honest,I never heard of your music until your announcement. Now I'm a fan. smile

  • Way to go Chely. We need more people like you in country music who are proud to be who they really are.

  • If this is what makes her happy, who am I to judge.

  • well done for coming out u r hot and a gr8 singer proud to have u on our team

  • She is breaking boundries! Country music may not be rocked by this totally.....but one of the "flock" is now on the other side of the fence. Bravo Chely! Now it's time for Terri, Bryan, Kenny and Jo Dee to come to terms and fess up! When people realize that being gay/lesbian doesn't make you any less human they will start to understand that it really doesn't matter. People should be who they are and accepted for the gifts they have, not who they sleep with. Thank you Chely!

  • @wa2k99 Why exactly? You are a disgrace of a human being for being hateful.

  • Time for Kenny Chesney to come out now.

  • I am so proud of you Chely, I know it was probably the hardest thing you've ver had to do but you are free now. I'm so happy that you can completely be yourself now and know that you are being true to you. You are beautiful and have a very beautiful voice. Love ya!

  • @goldfinger1970 your retarded if you think she was worried about holding it in all this time. This is purely a crafted decision right before a record release to gain attention. This is without question a grasp at straws trying to gain some momentum in her career.

  • @USASoCCerGoaL Speaking as a lesbian it doesn't matter what profession you are it's hard for us to come out. I'm still trying to figure out how to break it to my family and friends. And if anything its going to be a test to her career considering the country music industry is the most conservative one to get into.

  • @TheLacylady I wish you the absolute best on your journey to come out to your family. Ignore those who think that coming out is an easy thing to do. Yes, there are people who are blessed to have understanding parents and live an a liberal enviornment. Not everyone is blessed to have that support. I wish you nothing but the best and to be true to yourself.

  • @TheLacylady i agree..

  • @TheLacylady you know what your "real" friends will still be there. You might even be suprised at how many of them will tell you well it's about time you told me. Just be who you are and the rest will fall into place. I have been an out lesbian for 22 years and the more comfortable you feel about yourself the more comfortable other people will be with you.

  • @TheLacylady i am one of your family members its okay honey.

  • @USASoCCerGoaL You seem to be one of those people who know it all. I take it you are really Chely Wright herself? You are so lame to think that somone is retarted to think that it must have been hard for her to come out, you're a pathetic joke! If she decided to come out via releasing a new album, so be it. It never fails that there is some idiot that has to be so negative. Get a life!

  • She is amazing and beautiful no matter who she decides she wants to love

  • gosh she is gorgeous! im glad to know that more women are coming out, and showing the world their true identity

  • to: unvus 2 : why is it bad that she is a lesbian, she is still a person, with a bigger heart than yours maybe..don't pity them, respect them for coming out of the closet, she must have been fighting that demon like crazy, don't you ever think that way? what is BAD to you? think hard, please...you must be a good person yourself, you just can't face these gays and lesbians.....huh! try.

  • she is so hott and NOW even more!!

  • @unvus2 Why can't she be a lesbian and beautiful too?

  • One of my favorites !

  • I listened to this song sooo many times on Valentine's Day.

  • I love her with longer hair

  • I am looking for a song by this woman....CHELY WRIGHT LYRICS - I Love You Enough To Let You Go...can you help me

  • im looking for the same song
