i couldn't understand what you said with the sulfuric acid. At 0:45-0:46 you said something like "we're gonna put sulfuric acid into that machine, it'll allow us to get better (unknown word)" What was that?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. As an electrical engineer specialized in power and control design for automation, the goal is to design a fully automated mini refinery. Congratulations for the quality of the video.
I am accually looking at getting one of these machines, a 380. I have seen all the footage for the 190, but would like to see how the glycerin is drained off and the final product of the 380. I have called a couple of dealers to get a demonstration on how it works, but no one will show me in person how it works. So these videos are all I have. My dad and I are willing to travel anywhere in the country to see one of these things work, we just dont know where to go.
Well Graydon is out of town until next week, we will try to get some footage for you. I'm sure if you dont mind traveling out to utah he'd be more than happy to show you in person as well. We will let you know as soon as we get the footage.
Ok, sounds good. Yeah, we would be willing to come out to see it work if you guys would be willing to show us. Like I said, we are willing to go anywhere in the country to see one of these in person. If you could get in contact with him and let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.
Good Question, Graydon didnt have a machine that was at that stage when we were there filming but as soon as we have a chance we are going together with him and shoot some more footage.... Any other parts of the process you would like to see?
Wear some safety goggles too!! Sulfuric acid on the hands vs. the eyes, I'd let it get on my hands first.

}interesting video... how much power does that machine consumes??
alonso9696 3 years ago
Assuming 70-80 deg. F ambient temps, a 190 uses about 25 kW hours of power.
Power input is standard 110 volt 15 amp circuit.

A full video of how it works is available on the Utah Biodiesel Supply BioPro 190 page.
YouTube won't let me post a link here or else I would. Just go to utahbio dot come and click on the 190 page & you'll see it.
