I notice you always use the Kroger brand, that's my favorite too ! Around here our Kroger grocer is called Ralph's and its my favorite grocery store !
I Love zuchini this looks like a great recipe i may have to try it:) When i make it i just saute it with olive oil and a seasoning mix i get at the store called janes krazy mixed up salt. Its very good but i'm always looking for new ways to prepare the same food. Thanks for this recipe
@TheTorpeguy No, zucchini and cucumber look similar, but they are not the same. Zucchini is a type of squash and tastes like squash. Cucumber has a totally different flavor.
Brilliant idea Betty i grew 6 zucchini plants this year [we call them courgettes in england] and ive got way to many to handle so thankyou for this video its giving me a few ideas.
This looks very yummy Mrs. Betty! I just checked my pantry and it looks like I have everything to make this as a tasty side dish tomorrow to go with a meal! Thanks for sharing this awesome and simple recipe!
@mrbr549 You can cook them to taste. Some people like zucchini when it's crisp-tender, and others like it when it's almost mushy. It's just your choice.
Betty, this looks good! I prepared a dish similar yesterday with onions minus the Parmesan cheese and lemon zest. I'll definitely try this one this week:-) Thanks
i have some club house spice that I bought at the supermarket a new one called Citrus Blast...its got a nice lemon/citrus mixed taste to it. Can I use that instead of lemon zest?
wow. i might wanna try this at home! thanks betty! ^^ oh n i kinda like the music intro. what is it called? anyways, im gonna try this recipe and when im done, im taking a picture and put it on myspace ^^ i bet it wont look good but practise makes perfect =P so thanks betty!! ^^
i add white wine lemon and garlic to my sauteed zucchini all my friends love it and once the wine has cooked off ur left with the sweetest taste itsd great by its self its a great compliment to nay dish! yum.
@Infestmyheart We met in 1966, at our first college class for each of us (English 101) at Eastern kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. He grew up in Louisville, KY, and I grew up in Monticello, KY.
Parmesan with zucchini ... yup, been there done that (do people still say that? LOL) and it's delicious. But lemon with those?! Never thought of that and it sounds fantastic! Thanks for sharing Betty, I can't wait to try it. I think it would be great on thin "steaks" of zucchini on the grill too! Num. Oh, maybe eggplant too!
Love your videos. They are just like they would be at home, not everything perfect and I can never find the right lid and I do what you did to cover the cooking. Thanks going to make tonight
Great recipe, but I was surprised that the zucchini didn't water down. Also, I have always been told that I should always wait for the oil to heat up before adding anything, does this apply to when frying things only?
What I like to do is to saute grinded zucchini, then top it with garlic yogurt and sprinkle roasted walnuts.
Lovely way to use up Zucchinis Betty we call them courgettes here in the UK and they are coming thick and fast this time of year ;-) Thanks for this ...Richard
Looks easy and tasty. A great summer dish. If you are interested I can share a wonderful recipe for Zucchini Patties that you would probably love and maybe even like to make for your viewers.

This sounds and looks good, but the Zucchini in the video look under done. Shouldn't they be cooked long enough to soften more?
