I was lucky enough to go to their most recent concert, this past summer.....& speaking from my own experience......It was one of the best concerts.....I went because i wanted to see Aerosmith LIVE.....they were AMAZING.....Joey, Joe, & of course....super sexy Steven Tyler....He has such charisma..... his voice, his wardrobe, his moves.....It's unexplainable.....He's an uninhibited free spirit.....

Aerosmith of today is a VERY different band than the Aerosmtih of the late 70s/80s. They travel separately and have separate attorneys. It's big business, not a creative endeavor. Suckers like you pay top dollar to see nostalgia and hype, not new music. I love Aerosmith as they were, not as they are

Aerosmith has been shit since the 80s. Retire already guys, I'm now embarrassed to say I like Aerosmith. I have to preface with "OLd" I like OLD Aerosmith.

@tomcat13claws I agree. They should have quit after the mid 90s. However, what are they going to do? Sit around the house all day? These are guys who have a very lavish lifestyle and several offspring to maintain (in addition to reemerging drug habits). They've never worked another job as adults. I think they'd go insane or broke if they completely stopped playing altogether. When you get accustom to a certain lifestyle it's difficult to change, especially at their ages

@thijs78 Don't believe it. That's the official story and it sound nice (helps sell albums too). They both got clean and lived happily ever after. Not true. Both Joe and Steven have used sporadically since the late 80s, after they supposedly "got clean". Steven has been dabbling since 2000 and checked himself into Betty Ford last year and Joe was drinking like a fish during the late 90s. They both blow a line here and there. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either naive or deluded

They recorded some great stuff with Bruce "Fair-r-r-r-r-Bear-r-r-r-r-n" (RIP Fairbairn). Bruce still is to this day one of Canada's best producers.
