Today is the first day I feel much better after 3 days of the most horrible toothache of my life! :16 - :23 had me laughing my ass off! That was me last night, just ask the wife and kid. Nick Nolte is the man and toothaches are a man's version of giving birth out of his face!!! If any toothache sufferers are reading this, IT WILL GET BETTER-DO NOT KILL YOURSELF I've been on anti-biotics for 48 hours and today I didn't even need a painkiller, yet.(was taking 5-6 a day for two days) Hang in there!

@creekyhands I had been suffering from horrendous toothache for weeks on and off, I have given birth twice, and I would gladly give birth again and again than to suffer from the pain I had from this tooth, at one point I was in tears and if my hubby had a gun pointing at me I would of told him to pull the trigger coz fuck hte pain was omg I just couldnt bare it, all my left side of face felt like it had been hit by a truck, anyway i had a deep seated abcess in the pulp of tooth ><

I was so happy I could of kissed the life outta that dentist lol to all who is suffering from toothache atm, the thing that worked for a wee while for me was using woolballs and clove oil! drench the wool in the oil and place it on affected tooth and bite down and hold it rthere for 3 mins, will take edge off pain for abit

@sparkandflame Glad to hear you're in the clear!!! I have to go in next week to have mine pulled. The dentist I went to just cleaned it out and medicated and sealed it. I am scared to say that I am actually pain free. I sure hope the extraction won't be the same pain over again. How's the healing going, painwise...?

@creekyhands Awww well, you will be very happy to know that having a tooth pulled is painfree, they numb the area first and then you wait for about 5 mins for it take affect, then they pop it out only thing you feel is the pressure which I wont lie it aint nice coz YOU KNOW what they are doin lol, the dentist actual laughed at me and said she wished she could video this as i looked like i was being murdered :D but its painfree, and now no pain at all.

The performance by Nick Nolte in this film is the best performance in the history of cinema. It is better than anything Brando ever did, or DeNiro, or Dustin Hoffman or Pacino or anybody else. I admire all of the above, but having lived in New England my whole life I can tell you this is it. Somehow Nolte became Wade.

i gotta get 2 teeth pulled but my pressure was to high for 2 teeth so i have to come back when its lower ..they gave me some pills to bring it down but the dentist cleaned all the food an crap that was traped inbetween the bad teeth to ease the pain until i come back and it works i slept like a baby but the problem is still there cant wait to get back an let them operate

I have a tooth ache right now ON THANKSGIVING! While my whole family is at my mother's house having a wonderful dinner, I'm home alone sufferring like a son-of-a-bitch! Great film. One of the best acting performances ever by Nolte. Everyone else in the film is fabulous too. My favorite line of the movie is at the beginning "Wade" takes his daughter to the Halloween party at the local high school in New Hampshire. He's divorced from her mother but the little girl grew up in the town. She is sulking because she didn't want to fulfill "visitation" with her father. He's talking to her "I thought you'd like the party. Kind of pitiful but they tried."

Great movie. Great actor. It says something when a movie by Adam Sandler.......that buffoon will be seen by tens of millions and this great movie which says so much and has terrific dialogue and performances is seen by a handful of people.
