At face value it would seem like incarcerated people are being picked on and taken advantage of, and maybe they are. But 97% of the people in American prisons are there because of DRUG related crimes. Different governments use different methods of controlling their populous. The US locks up druggies, while countries like UK and Australia take everyone's guns away. Personally I prefer to keep my guns and avoid prison by not breaking laws. It's not that damn hard to stay out of jail in the US.

@FrozenOne1976 This is the worst system anyone can think of. If prisoners are forced to work, it's an incentive to arrest more people for cheap labor. What happens to people who can't work fast enough, and have to spend double the time for that? Everything I do that requires reading, writing, mental effort, or hand dexterity, takes me about twice as long as normal people, doesn't matter how hard I try. 8-10% of people are in my position. That would mean that 8-10% would do double sentence.

And as for drugs, some people are depressed and can't feel normal without drugs, the only difference is that when you go to the doctor, they give you "legal" drugs (anti depressants or stimulants, both of which have some dangerous side effects and long term damage.), while illegal drugs like weed can't ever kill you or do more than damaging your lungs.

I have never heard of a murderer getting paroled earlier than a marijuana grower or any other non-violent offender.

Great video as always AT... i've seen, (more than just 1nce or 2wice), petty criminals continuously refused bail on bs charges but at the same time i see a lot of pedophiles, murderers & other very serious charges out on bail straight away, it does depend on circumstances, i'm just speaking of averages, (& this is b4 sentencing even). Bribes being taken from big business lobbyists by presidents and congressmen is hardly what I would consider walking softly. The consent of the governed is the biggest stick we all carry. My best suggestion is a return to true democracy: let's see more referendums and recalls on measures/politicians who don't go after trusts or prison scams! At face value it would seem like incarcerated people are being picked on and taken advantage of, and maybe they are. But 97% of the people in American prisons are there because of DRUG related crimes. Different governments use different methods of controlling their populous. The US locks up druggies, while countries like UK and Australia take everyone's guns away. Personally I prefer to keep my guns and avoid prison by not breaking laws. It's not that damn hard to stay out of jail in the US.

Criminals should pay their debt to society both literally and figuratively. Maybe we should sentence people to X number of tons of coal mined or X number of trinkets made. We could put them on tread mill or exercise bikes and sentence them to X number of kilowatts generated. Just need to figure a way to do it so the money does not corrupt the system and then “Work” really will “make you free”

@FrozenOne1976 This is the worst system anyone can think of. If prisoners are forced to work, it's an incentive to arrest more people for cheap labor. What happens to people who can't work fast enough, and have to spend double the time for that? Everything I do that requires reading, writing, mental effort, or hand dexterity, takes me about twice as long as normal people, doesn't matter how hard I try. 8-10% of people are in my position. That would mean that 8-10% would do double sentence.

And as for drugs, some people are depressed and can't feel normal without drugs, the only difference is that when you go to the doctor, they give you "legal" drugs (anti depressants or stimulants, both of which have some dangerous side effects and long term damage.), while illegal drugs like weed can't ever kill you or do more than damaging your lungs.

True- but the term has connotations to the layman of "civilized, healthy, clean, advanced" etc- all ways in which Japan trumps the USA or just about any other country- I know- I have been to 13 countries- including Japan and USA.

It hurts. My own country of Norway seems to be somewhat an exception to this, with focus on "seems".
So I guess your regular American is correctly educated and possibly chemically contained and given clear paradigms to follow for this to work. If the facts wasn't staring me in the eye I would not be able to accept this. There has to be a "master" plan of sorts for this to work. I knew about this in passing, but not the extent. Amazing. I'd argue a whole lot more are in prison and don't even know it. They're conformists. They vote the lesser of two evils and or who or what the fair and balanced cable news shows tell them to vote for. Their life is on schedule. It's all been planned out in advanced. Oh they'll probably get away with that small infraction when they have their midlife crisis but that wont last long. They'll make amends by supporting their favorite societal assassin(politician) . They vote for what they are led to believe is the lesser of two evils, but for this sham to work it has to be controlled on both ends, since this has happened under both parties. My question is simply if the majority of Americans/world is so controlled that those that see past this (partly at least) have no chance to rebel effectively. As an example; 9/11 went perfectly, and the questions controlled. I wonder what the plan is.

One simple yet effective way to defuse a situation is to ignore it. You have a fussy 2 year old so your immediate reaction is to yell at him/her/issue an empty threat about making them take a nap etc. Problem with this is he's crying for attention. To make him appreciate the privilege of such, ignore him. Ignore the situation and the problem can be defused. That's precisely what they did.

9/11 was full of holes but they ignored all of them and then trained the public to react negatively through the use of "trigger words" such as "a truther", "unpatriotic", "liberal", "giving aid and company for the enemy" etc..
Remember another thing this commonly shared fantasy called reality is a sort of womb. Most people do not have the courage to stand naked in the world. I'm not talking nudism but psychologically naked. We need to belong so we go along.

Along the lines of what Mr. AntiTerrorist is saying I'd suggest everyone spend a day in criminal court and watch the proceedings. Sit till lunch and watch the cash register open and close. Watch how they manipulate the accused who submissively hand over their wallet in exchange for their freedom. I was there once and I called their bluff. Case dismissed.

@ammiralowling Agreed. Also most people are aware that action most likely would cause their deaths. By having a perceived minimum for survivial and safety, they do not dare to loose it. I understand that. The few that are willing to die in a confrontation is very low indeed, and knowledge that resistance is futile without sufficient backing causes even them to await "better times" to deal with these "issues".
I fear such better opportunities will not come.

Yes that's when people really question their faith. I'm not a follower of middle eastern faiths but do know souls are recycled. I'm studying Laurel Canyon. I believe israel/American jews waged war against high ranking military officer's families in order to break the tradition (military). They succeeded.

I had a thought last night which might help matters along although could blow up this planet...when was the last time israel had a major earthquake? 1927. I would not hold a specific position that is reminiscent to nationalism, as any nation, no matter what is the past, is now in some form in the grip of said structure. Terms like "communism" and "capitalism" is most likely perfect tools for their agenda, as is all religion and ideology, no matter what is "right".

Afghanistan was the prime supporter of heroin to America before the fundamentalist religious reign that severely halted production of the elites much needed heroin, so obviously they had to be removed. @MJJacksonQueen777 I think the private armies that now stand under corporate control is very important. The regular army is badly equipped and soldiers are not threated well at all (as we have seen). This is interesting; we know that companies like blackwater was used in leading roles in Iraq, a perfect training ground for urban battle and civilian control. I am unsure how FEMA will play into this.

Ironic that everyone I have talked to who 'served a prison term' had no opportunity to learn anything about the system of law that put them there for so called "correction". How can someone correct themselves with regards to the law if they are not taught about law during the process of correction? Doesn't the law society prohibit membership to anyone who has committed a crime? It's like labeling someone as uncorrectable prior to attempting to correct them. Unfair, injurious, and deliberate.

I knew that the we have more non-violent people in jail than violent and I knew we incarcerated more than any other country and I knew that black men far outnumber the white men in jail but I didn't know that are forced to produce all of those products! I have 1st-hand experience of this (well, 2nd-hand 'cos i didn't make the groups). I joined a specific group, and later that week found out that it had gone.
