I see your point. However, the purpose of my comment was not to ponder the balance of life and death, but rather to create an ominous, suspenseful, and generally more epic atmosphere, using the music as a tool.

Obviously there are more people born than there are dying, otherwise we wouldn't be around to listen to the track in the first place. But if i said "every second, someone dies. BUT MANY BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN ARE BORN AS WELL! SO IT'S ALLLL OKAY!", it would sort of spoil the mood.
