Haha, the lawn was mowed that afternoon, but the daisy weeds are back again! It is still green here, was starting to brown off but we've had rain this week, yay :)
It gets quite dry in summer here in the lower North Island(north of Wellington). If there is green to be seen it's usually from irrigation! You can have my weeds!! But yeah there are some nice surprises that pop up among the weeds.

I'm not sure, birds or maybe just a false alarm? They came back within a minute of running off. I had been filming & waiting for Diamond to drop her head to the ground but she just wouldn't let herself fall asleep...:-)
