Sounds super sick. I think this setup sounds better on a silverado than any muffler out there! If I didn't live in the stupid city I would absolutely run this setup on my 02 Sierra. Sounds good bro.

I had the 5 inch tips on my truck at one time too, it sounded sick with my true dual 8 inch glasspacks....truck sounds really good man.

I saw that it was a flex fuel....what happens to the sound when you switch to 4 cylinders and also why did you Y PIPE it instead of just running 2 pipes?

@ugapanic07 well the only time you will hear it is when your in cruise control, it will idle in a high pitch when in 6 cyl but its actually not that bad but when in 4 cyl its like the same sound just quieter, and the sound is really really rapid.

@BigCaTnTrucks Yeah.....i have always had straight pipes on every truck ive had, but ive had dual straight pipes...no y pipe.....I have heard that with the fuel management, you cant run 2 pipes because the 4 cylinder cant deal with the compression change...

@BigCaTnTrucks I had straight pipes and now i have super 44's. When it goes from 8 to 4 cylinder it does make kinda the same sound it just skips. I'll try posting a video of my truck going from 8 to 4 sometime soon.

Nice truck. How is the interior sound with no muffler. I had a 02 HD and I tried the straight pipes. It was so loud in the cab I would get a headache driving it. I now run Flowmasters.

@swinney101, yeah dude if you just drop the muffler and replace it with a y pipe and run 2.5" tailpipes out the back with any size tips you get a loud rumble because of the new cats

@BigCaTnTrucks Your truck sound'a bad ass! I am in the same boat with you. I am the only one around my area that has 6inch wide exhaust stack's on a new silverado. Alot of people are quite shocked to find out it is a vortec& not a dirty-max. With the cold air intake& the performance exhaust, she runs like a raped date now. Plus I put bosch+4 platimun plug's& 8 1/2 millimiter wire in it. It will smack around a few diesel's, as long as they aren't modded out the ass with the tuner's& stuff. LOL
