Demanding respect isn't really a 'bitch quality.' I've been in situations where I had to stand up for myself - repeatedly. It wasn't a trivial matter - in fact it could be considered a feminist issue. A woman should never be mum when she feels she's being disrespected. A woman knows her battles and doesn't create an issue just cause lol.
